Hell of a game you guys
Hey everybody I just wanted to say you dominated us from start to finish and Michigan looks great and I can see you guys ripping apart Ohio State next weekend. Some things I wanted to reflect on with my visit to Ann Arbor.
1. The people here are very friendly and fun to talk to and to be honest I'm sad to leave because I wanted to see more of the campus.
2. The Big House is loud and awesome my ears are still ringing from the noise and your fans are loud and passionate like ours lol
3. Michigan Stadium ushers are so helpful to visiting fans who are new to the stadium I had no idea where my seats were going to be at in the stadium so I asked some people and I found them right away! I was opposite of the scoreboard that wasn't working at the endzone.
4. Denard Robinson is an amazing athlete and you're very lucky to have him and Toussaint. Both of them played amazing!
5. Your defense is incredible! They completely shut down T-magic and Burkhead and we really didn't have an answer to your defense.
It was an incredible experience and I hope to be back again soon because I had so much fun and I love Ann Arbor already lol. Next time I hope to see more of the campus! Have a great weekend all of you and I'm sure you're going to throw a hell of a party in Michigan tonight lol. Great effort Blue and always GO HUSKERS! :)

Husker4life, you're so nice it makes me scared. I hope Michigan fans were all decent to you, because if they weren't we'd have some bad karma. Have a safe trip home!
We also really appreciate Nebraska for beating Ohio State and Michigan State.

Happy Thanksgiving if I don't talk to you later on in the up coming week :) be safe and take care! I'm headed home! GO BIG RED!

Thank you for being gracious. I am very surprised at the outcome of the game.Presumably your guys just had a bad hair day and we a good one. GO Big Red ( when not playing us ). It is a pleasure not reading " we own you" or "you suck my ____" as we do on the MSU and OSU sites. When you start beating them regularly then you will hear it too. Then you have arrived.Hope you never hear anything like that on this site !

This is a big reason why Nebraska is my second favorite team in the country - fans who appreciate a good football game, regardless of the outcome, and have the class to say so!
Have a safe trip, and beat Iowa next weekend.

Welcome to the Big Ten! We're happy to have your great sportsmanship on the field and off. This game was Big Ten football the way it was meant to be played. Good game!

you'll have to settle for the W and holding claim to the virtual 1997 NC trophy for a year.

As an usher it was the easiest opposing crowd that showed up with numbers that I can remember. Classy fanbase.

This is going to be a hell of a rivalry in the next couple years, MSU will fall back and fight Iowa for 3rd, but I can see the winner of the Michigan vs Nebraska game going to the Big Ten Championship year in and year out.
November 19th, 2011 at 5:33 PM ^
we have too many games like this :)
Seriously, though, the divisional set up should end up changing some rivalry priorities in the B1G

I think this is a key reason that we were all so happy to have Nebraska join the Big Ten. It isn't just the success that their team has on the field, it is also the knowledgeable and classy fan base. I look forward to playing them for years to come.

It sounds like you enjoyed your stay; next time come early and see some more! :)
I don't know it you did it for this week's game, but feel free to ask us about good places to dine, or things to see the next time you plan on coming to Ann Arbor...good luck next week against the Hawkeyes!

Because wins and losses will do that over time. But we won't hate each other's fans. Good luck going into Columbus next year. It's kinda different.
November 19th, 2011 at 5:34 PM ^
Mom grew up in Columbus, NE (Not Ohio) and watched every Husker game she could all her life. Grandma lived to be 93 and watched every game. Grandpa was rabid and talked about them every day. My uncle played for the Huskers.
I never lived there, and went to school at Michigan, but Nebraska has always been my second favorite team. There's a lot in common: history and tradition, knowledge and class. Glad you had a good time in Ann Arbor, and look forward to many more years of this new and important rivalry.
Go Blue, and every other Saturday, Go Big Red!

(one was a business associate of my wife) and they were very classy, and took the loss with great sportsmanship. I was very impressed with their fans. I didn't observe one obnoxious Cornhusker fan all day. I'm really glad they joined the conference. Can't wait to see their stadium and campus next year. Go Blue!

Of course I am glad we were victorious today but it is our benefit as a conference you joined . You have such great tradition and fan base you have made us better. I am looking forward to a road trip. Four of the top ten in victories. Good luck in your next two games. I hope all of your visits to the Big House are memories of respectful competitors welcoming you to our community.

All the Nebraska fans I met were great. And there were plenty of them; your reputation for traveling in big numbers to support your team is well-deserved. Good luck against Iowa and in your bowl game.

I was really impressed by how well the Nebraska fans traveled and how courteous they were. Hopefully we'll be as good when we go down there.

I think my heart grew a few sizes after reading this!
Great to see the respect between the players on the field as well...

to the B1G like Nebraska. You're finally in a conference that fits your mold
November 19th, 2011 at 7:38 PM ^
Yeah I talked to a lot of nebraska fans and just greeted them to ann arbor... They loved it, you could tell.
November 19th, 2011 at 8:15 PM ^
Welcome to you and your school. This will be a fun, respectful battle for many years to come.
November 19th, 2011 at 10:02 PM ^
Very happy to have Nebraska in the Big Ten. It is a tailor-made match.
One of the biggest benfits to the B1G in adding Nebraska will be in bowl games. It gives the B1G an elite program to consistently match up against SEC teams.
November 20th, 2011 at 10:20 AM ^
That is a very kind post. Good people and good program out there in Lincoln. I thought Nebraska was very physical and hit hard on offense and defense.
November 20th, 2011 at 11:17 AM ^
I really enjoyed all of my interactions with the nebraka fans as well. welcome to the big10. very happy to have you guys. looking forward to a lifetime of it.

God I loved Nebraska fans... So nice and classy. I loved greeting them to Ann Arbor and just wanted to make sure they had fun and enjoyed every bit of their trip. I want to go to Lincoln next year but I don't know if I can afford it. Best of luck to ya Huskers, but always GO BLUE!!!
