I look forward to the team 144 reunions.

Whenever he decided to hang them up I hope Michigan makes him a coaching emeritus. Harbaugh is deeply connected to this program and always will be.

We really need a Team 144 statue/mural.

The answer to the question many have debated:

“Tough,” Harbaugh said when asked how challenging it was to make the decision to leave Michigan. “Tackled it, wrestled it to the ground. Like any good decision, it’s thought out well, thought out the best you can. I love Michigan, and I also love the NFL. Sarah (his wife) was torn, I was torn, the kids torn.”

“It was one of those deep, personal and as meaningful as it gets,” Harbaugh said. “Coaching here has been the love of my life outside of the family. Just our team, everything we did, everything they did, everything the players did, the coaches, the staff. To go from pillar to post and be successful, forever proud to be a part of that.”

I think that's human nature. I compared it to when Jordan hit that shot versus the Jazz.

Like it wasn't getting better than that. Everyone was tired. How were you ever going to top the best player in the history of the game, who had the toughest playoff run of his career, starting to get up there in age...hitting a game winner in a Game 6 to win a championship?

That's a walk-off moment.

Michigan had that. Of course everyone was like, what's left?

JJ isn't winning a Heisman, plus I don't think he cares about a personal achievement.

I think going #1 would've been a goal because yes that's personal, but that's also about what it means to your family and friends. But JJ doesn't come from a family where his draft stock is going change everything.

In the end, it was time, after all the NCAA stuff, all the adversity, you could feel it as soon as JJ got the ball back to kneel out the game. This was over.

I'm excited for the future though! But we have to be bold and build this thing back up...if we just try to replicate the past, we will fail.

I bet his wife and kids are torn. Going from laid back, home like A2 to LA. I fly into LAX twice year for business in Ontario and can’t wait to drive out and then fly back out. California is a beautiful state, but definitely not Midwest nice. I feel for his family…gotta be tough.

Am I the only one who thinks it might actually be see you later? I just have this feeling Harbaugh comes back someday. Maybe I'm crazy.
