Happy Father's Day
Happy Father's Day shout out to all the MgoBlog Family. I hope you all enjoy your day with family and get to sit back and relax with your favorite beverage.
Go Blue!!!!
Happy Father's Day. Nice weather where I live. Hope it is for you also so you can have a nice outdoor activity or just chill outside.
Dinner and beers with my I-blinked-and-they-grew-up daughters last night. We lost pops last month, so pouring one out tonight with some fancy scotch and a cigar.
As a father of 3, shoutout to all ya’ll dads working hard to be the best you can be for your kids. It’s not easy, but it’s worth it.
Also maybe we could give some fathers an extra special Father’s Day when their kids tell them they are committing to Michigan today? *taps recruiting microphone* Hello? is this thing on?
have a great Father’s Day you magnificent bastards.
We are making pizzas on an outdoor pizza oven. Highly recommended.
Happy Fathers Day to the dads, stepdads, and those who filled this role in the lives of others.
It always brings mixed feelings for me - my own relationship with my father is a somewhat distant, aloof one and that's in part because of who both of us naturally are, but there are times when I have regrets about it. As a father of two teenagers who has only been sober for two of those years now, I find myself regretful that I wasn't a better father in the past, but still hopeful I can be a better one in the future.
Congratulations on your sobriety. Way to be an example of growth to your children.
Happy Father's Day to all! That goes for uncles who don't have kids as well, that are awesome uncles to their nieces and nephews!
Not Angry Dad today, I get to be with all 3 of my kids.
Yeah Dudes, Enjoy!
Happy Father's Day to all! Speaking of sitting back.... I'm planning to take the family to the big house for the first game this year. My back is... shitty. When we were at the Michigan Maryland game this year they had rental seats to put on the bleachers with backs.
Does Michigan have them for rent? Can I bring them in?
Sitting on the bleachers is gonna be a killer for my back (and standing).
Any thoughts? Thanks and enjoy a relaxing Sunday! Hopefully with 6 commits!!
We have a full day planned.
I hope all the fathers out there have a great day. Mine is off to a banging start - my father-in-law, who has been staying with us for 10 days now, decided to take our car without asking this morning and proceed to hit the side of the garage door opening and rip the bumper off.
Sick baby this weekend which is postponing Father’s Day… and that feels very appropriate. Hope most of you other dads are able to celebrate appropriately!
Kids and wife are gone for a week. I’ve been getting stuff done at home. That’s a fine Father’s Day.
Garage is clean for first time in years. I think I’ll be able to get a car in it. Also tackling the junk drawer. Much bigger task.
+1 to you. The amount of stuff/clutter that comes with having 2 young kids is something I struggle with everyday. I’m quite jealous of you lol.
Yeah. We just had a garage sale yesterday. Tons of stuff that had been collecting for years is finally gone. Just got done hauling the leftovers to goodwill. We’ve missed our neighborhood garage sale the last two years. That’s why I stayed and the family went to visit my brother in law in Santa Fe.
Happy Father’s Day to all the dads.
Happy Fathers Day!
Special day for me as I picked up our youngest daughter in Guatemala on Fathers Day. Cool story as they don’t allow pick-ups on Sunday, but they made accommodations for me as my flights were delayed and the meeting at the consulate was at 9:00 am. What a wonderful addition to our three natural born kids. Each one is better than the rest!!
Having a simple dinner of burgers, brats, and hot dogs today.
Wow, congrats! We are considering adoption, maybe international. What website/organization did you use?
She’s 15 now, so I don’t remember (and they may have gone out of business).
Went to a nice brunch this morning with another couple. My daughter lives in NYC so enjoying the day with the wife. Thinking about my father who left us way too young in his mid-40's and has been gone for 35 years. Happy Father's Day you filthy animals!
Sitting in a cold, dark basement (97 degrees outside at the moment), sipping on some red wine and watching The Hunt for Red October, while simultaneously keeping an eye on the Tigers, Mets, and Padres scores.
Once the sun passes over the house, will grill some burgers for dinner to have with waffle fries and Costco mac'n'cheese. Might even fry up some onions and mushrooms since it's a special occasion!
Yeah, it's a dad day:)
My retirement plan
Give me a ping, Vasily. One ping only please.
I give you one chance in three of frying those onions and mushrooms.
Spending the day catching up on grass cutting/trimming and pond maintenance. Will head to Bass Pro here in a minute for some final items for next week's foray into northern Ontario on a fly-in fishing trip with the kid. His first time doing this...
Back in Michigan with my 97- year old dad, amazes me, still active on community boards.
Happy Dad Day to all!
Wow, 97!? That's awesome!
This is an extended weekend encompassing a holiday, Father's Day, and my birthday. So it has been a fun long weekend with grilling on the fire pit and playing with my kids. Unfortunately one of my kids brought something home from preschool and shared it with everyone so only my older kid and me were healthy all weekend. But still, it's been a fun one for us all.
