Nevermind, I can’t read. It’s Friday April 24th. Not this Friday. Also 2pm CST so 3pm EST. Jeez, everything in the title was wrong. What a train wreck.
Are you related to the Geico™ squirrels?
Illiteracy never kills.

Except in some circumstances, such as failure to understand medication directions that warn against combining particular sorts of meds.

It's not the illteracy that kills. It's the medication.

You SUCK!! Your posts are TERRIBLE and you should be ashamed of yourself! That title was TRASH!!
/Did I do that right?
I really liked this trash post. The lack of attention to detail is what really caught my eye.
Also, CDT and EDT, since it's now daylight time, not standard time.
/ducks.
Out of those 5 teams, where is the presumed destination? Kentucky?
Well Memphis was the presumed leader, but it has been quoted plenty about it would be Texas if Shaka Smart is the coach, and he kept his job, so I would say it is between those two.
Sam has mentioned several times that he has a strong relationship with Shaka Smart and Texas retaining him for only one year is not a big deal since he only wants to stay one year in college anyway.
Penny appears to be an amazing recruiter. Offers much of the same that Howard offers.
As well as gym bags packed with stacks
I thought it was Memphis or UK.
I know who's coming in second though!
There are times where finishing second is good.
Narrator-this was not one of those times ...
Well uh, one of either Memphis of KY?
If he doesn't pick Texas it will be a shock to everyone involved. He was looking around for an alternative in case Shaka got canned and Texas just announced he's coming back. Kentucky was probably the only one of those schools less likely than Michigan.

This is interesting - and i guess if he is a one-and-done this does not matter. But if Shaka was almost let go, then that should still create some uncertainty for Brown because Shaka may only have 1 more year to 'right the ship' and booted next year if shit doesn't go for the better down there.
Of course, Brown probably only cares about this upcoming year.
March 31st, 2020 at 10:50 AM ^
Brown is a one-and-done lock so he won't care about anything beyond the '20-'21 season.

Shaka seems to get a 5* like every year and he never does anything with them
I know this kid is a freak athlete and all but isn't he really raw and not a shooter? Last time I checked one of our biggest problems last season was shooting consistency. If he doesn't pick Michigan (he won't), I won't be sad.

You seem to conveniently forget that a lack of athleticism was one of our biggest problems too!
March 31st, 2020 at 11:10 AM ^
Miraculous how some have been conditioned to think like that.
Brown would've been easily in the Top 4 players if he was on our team last year.

He has some of the best offensive highlights i have seen - amazing athlete. But watch his videos and watch his defense. He applies 95% of his energy on the offensive end, and 5% on the defensive end.
Some of the worst effort/awareness/boxing out etc... on the defensive end i have ever seen footage of. My buddy and i were watching a couple of his videos a few months ago, and just looked at each other like, wow this kid gives no effort and has no awareness on the defensive end.

Luke will lose his mind then.

Yaklich? Hes the head coach at UIC so why would he lose his mind?
It won't be Michigan.
When is Josh Christopher announcing?
Even if we miss on Greg Brown, it is great seeing that Howard is in these battles.

I believe Mid April was the date...but I do not know if that will be pushed up. He mentioned last week that he would be announcing “soon”
March 31st, 2020 at 10:48 AM ^
The date that was mentioned at one point was April 13th, his Dad's birthday as I understand it. However as the post above says, it could very well be earlier.

Greg Brown would be amazingly fun to watch as a fan, but if we could pick only one of them Josh Christopher is the guy we really need as a team.
Fingers crossed that Juwan can recruit through the bell there. Back in the day, we saw some very painful examples of Lloyd failing to do just that in football (Justin King being the all-time example).

He's probably going Texas, with maybe Memphis if they drop the bag
If he goes Texas though, that would be really weird considering his dad was talking shit about Texas in the interview he did with Sam Webb. Basically said they don't take their basketball seriously and the basketball program is underwhelming

I am OVER the one and dones ..its ruining college basketball ...just letem go directly to the NBA

Zion was the best thing to happen to college basketball in years!
It is impossible for me to root against Zion. He just seems like such a great kid. He basically is paying for every employee at whatever arena/stadium he plays in as they miss time due to everything being cancelled. Class act that he does this and not the actual owner!
I wish him the best.
Matt EM says he is not coming to Michigan-so he's not coming.
However, for his own good and benefit, he should come play for Juwan and learn upfront what he needs to play at the next level. And, contrary to those negging this young man, he is a hell of an athletic talent. I would love to see Michigan have of Todd, Livers, Johns, Wagner, Brown, Bajema, Christopher, DeJulius, Brooks Davis...to work with. Among other things, it would sure make for some meaningful practices.
