was 7/11 with 17 points yesterday. I have started to notice that he is incredibly efficient. I'd like to see him get the ball more honestly.

the Mafia has been bankrolling Trey's assist-to-turnover ratio.

While I can appreciate the shows of athleticism, basketball is a game that is best played, and won, below the rim. Good defense, passing, and a coordinated team effort are far more important than mere showmanship. I've enjoyed Michigan's style as of late, but I've been concerned by the sloppy play at times this year.

What he's trying to say is there are too many black people.

there's nothing wrong with that.

he is trying to say that the really don't play a whole lot of D, have a tendency to stand around quite a bit until late in the shot clock, and really let teams hang around to a dangerous extent on a consistent basis. This team has got me really fired up for M hoops but there is a lot of room for improvement and growth which is common with a young team, but with the talent they have it is time to hold them to a higher standard. They play very sloppy at times and it will bite them in the ass going forward.

I'm glad you plugged "HARUMPH HARUMPH GRUMBLE GRUMBLE" into Google Translate for me.

While on the topic of requests...anyone have the Mitch McGary pick that he set where he flattens the arkansas player? I enjoyed that.
EDIT: here is a link to it.

That is one great pick.

Only thing wrong with that clip is that they cut it off before you get to see the Arkansas player shaking out the cobwebs as he heads the other way!

Yes he did. Yes it was. And yes if only we could fill up a newly renovated Crisler on a Saturday afternoon to watch the #3 team in the country play.

Honestly, I would just like to know what they want to accomplish with the rule? I mean, guys getting pumped up isn't a bad thing and it isn't really taunting anyone in particular...Guys taunt a lot more than that in other ways without getting a technical, so why for this? It just makes no sense to me. Let the guys have some fun!

I've watched it over and over again and I still don't see it. He turned his head around to see where the guy was. As a shorter guy I can understand why you need to hang on the rim a bit because when us < 6' guys dunk it (at least in my experience) I'm extremely likely to fall flat on my ass (on a breakaway) unless I hang on the rim to steady myself. But, since it didn't end up changing the outcome of the game I guess it doesn't bother me that much but this is nothing like a 6'6" guy dunking it and doing a chin up - us shorter guys need to rim to make sure we don't land flat on our asses.

Remember that with about 2 minutes to go Trey was called for a mystery offensive foul at the other end. Clark Kellogg suggested that it was about the jawboning going on. For the next minute and a half I thought Trey was toying with the defenders during his dribble- it looked like a little more than was really necessary to get the ball up and get the game over with a 14 point lead. On the dunk, it did not look like he was going so fast that he had to stop himself with the rim, which is what he said post-game. Finally, Coach B. changed out the entire line with 15 seconds to go. Michigan made no effort to score, and I don't think it served any purpose except to stop the nonsense on the court. Just my take. I was far removed from the scene, and I know nothing.
