i think these tickets are more pretty than the rose bowl tix I have from 2007. I am in section 128, row E for the gator bowl this year. I am very excited for the game.

A Student Section ticket?
December 20th, 2010 at 2:14 PM ^
Behind you! Section 128, Row U.
December 20th, 2010 at 2:18 PM ^
We're section 130 row EE, which I understand is behind A-Z. These are student section seats.
December 20th, 2010 at 3:15 PM ^
Section 227, row D. Parking lot H. PUMPED!
December 20th, 2010 at 4:19 PM ^
I didn't think about buying a parking pass until now, but they said that they won't ship after Dec. 15th. Do you think there will be parking available that's "relatively" close, even though it won't be in the official lots for purchase on gameday? I plan on going to the alumni association tailgate.
December 20th, 2010 at 4:30 PM ^
You can still buy a parking ticket. You will just have to pick it up the day before the game, at the Gator Bowl, by 5pm.
December 20th, 2010 at 7:45 PM ^
My wife and I are in Section 238 (Touchdown Club) row DD.
December 20th, 2010 at 2:08 PM ^
Is it just me, or does that flag have an M on it?
December 21st, 2010 at 10:38 AM ^
It looks like it in the pic he put up from far away, but no it's not!!! I'm looking at my tickets right now and their actually like two lines that go down. GO BLUE!!!
December 20th, 2010 at 3:15 PM ^
The design wasnt the coolest ever but those hard plastic tickets were the coolest I've ever received for any sort of event.
December 20th, 2010 at 4:41 PM ^
Mine are going in a frame with the huge photo print I ordered and a program. Loved that whole event.
December 20th, 2010 at 2:12 PM ^
the Tainos? O yea....
December 20th, 2010 at 3:01 PM ^
Where is the Fountain of Youth? Those conquistadors must have been pissed to have traveled all that way to come up empty handed in their search.
December 20th, 2010 at 3:49 PM ^
At least they found the Everglades? We all know where the Fountain of Youth is. Beneath GERG's scalp.
December 20th, 2010 at 4:25 PM ^
Explains why Claudia Schiffer was with him for any amount of time longer than 5 minutes.

December 20th, 2010 at 2:47 PM ^
The Timucuans are the ones that should be offended except they were wiped out by the guys in the picture a long time ago.
December 20th, 2010 at 3:51 PM ^
I may be mistaken, but I thought the first conquistadors landed in the Bahamas? The Tainos were wiped out by the Columbus lemmings.
December 20th, 2010 at 4:21 PM ^
Now my wife is gonna be pissed we're not going.
The Timucuans were the Northern Fla/ Southern Ga tribe wiped out by smallpox and Spanish missionaries. Pretty sad story. From over 200,000 to the last one dying exiled to Cuba ~1700.
December 20th, 2010 at 9:55 PM ^
No doubt you are correct on that. I was just under the impression that the ticket led onto the idea that it is where the first conquistadors ran ashore. This I believe was in the Bahamas. I am sure your wife wouldn't be as upset as you think she would if you did end up in the Bahamas either. As for your tickets, I will gladly pay you next Tuesday for the tickets today.
December 20th, 2010 at 4:44 PM ^
Not a big fan of the whole "genocidal invasive culture" aspect of the ticket design myself.
December 20th, 2010 at 2:18 PM ^
.... somewhere on the ticket it should say Michigan. All else is immaterial.
December 20th, 2010 at 2:44 PM ^
Could you send that to me for a closer look? The tickets I mean not the picture. I will give them back, promise!
December 20th, 2010 at 2:58 PM ^
I like the back that shows you the sections, I thought that was a good idea
December 20th, 2010 at 3:49 PM ^
... but I say the conquistador theme is butt-ugly.
Who cares, though? Go Blue... beat MSU
December 20th, 2010 at 3:59 PM ^
I got mine over the weekend too. The first thing I did was take a picture and send it to my friend and my dad.
December 20th, 2010 at 4:26 PM ^
I could go. Jealous of you all. Go blue!!!
December 20th, 2010 at 4:43 PM ^
I am worried, still have not received tix in the mail so far. I requested tix by US mail instead of 2 day UPS.
December 20th, 2010 at 5:59 PM ^
Queme Los Barcos
December 20th, 2010 at 6:47 PM ^
The scene on the ticket clearly depicts an ocean beach, yet Jacksonville is inland, not on the actual coast. If they're meaning to depict the Spanish establishment of St. Augustine, what possible relevance does that have to the Gator Bowl?
Are they equating the University of Michigan with the Spanish?
December 20th, 2010 at 6:50 PM ^
The problem is that the Gator Bowl hired Pentagram to design the ticket. Senior Pentagram management farmed the job out to their Berlin office, and the krauts mistranslated "Wolverines" as "Conquistadores."
Stupid designers.
December 20th, 2010 at 8:56 PM ^

December 20th, 2010 at 11:10 PM ^
Pretty sure you can still buy parking passes through Ticketmaster. We are in Lot SS and there are still passes available for that lot.
December 20th, 2010 at 11:00 PM ^

December 21st, 2010 at 10:16 AM ^
I remember getting that Rose Bowl ticket in 2005 and showing it off to everyone. They definitely do it up for the higher quality bowl games
