I don't think we're going to get up that high. I suppose its possible, but my guess is the starters will be resting by the third quarter and you'll have backups and walk-ons in by that point, at which point UConn will probably be able to make a few stops and put a drive or two together of their own.

I said this in the pick the score thread from yesterday, but I believe Harbaugh would be more than happy to trade away a sexier score in order to grab as much playing time as possible for his younger guys. Especially on defense. I think he'd rather have a 42-17 game where he empties out the bench and gets everyone live snaps and real experience vs. a 72-10 bludgeoning where he leaves his starters in until late and the game and just tries to prove a point to the pollsters.

Tyson vs. Spinks was a good 90 seconds worth of exciting, as in, Would Iron Mike corner the terrified beast and put it out of it's misery in round 1?  As it turned out, he did.  Micheal Spinks was the most terrified boxer I've ever seen in the ring.  I'm guessing that UConn is the same kind of mismatch.

I'll be driving through the state of Connecticut during game time - hoping for some shock and awe, and high praise for the Wolverines as I click through the radio dial.

And, oh yeah, I love me a Friday morning pre-Football Bang.  Lemme have it.

the great dane i had was by far the dumbest thing i have ever owned.

my pit bull is the smartest. the newfoundlands were up there too ... well, one was kinda dumb, but was smart enough to just follow the lead of the other two. you would tell her to sit and she would look at you confused, then see the other two sit, then would sit.

I live in New England, and have one friend who played in the UConn band the last time they went to Ann Arbor. He is excited for the current band to play in Michigan Stadium, which he said was the coolest experience of his marching band career. He is also the only person I know out here who is even aware there is a game outside of other Big Ten alum.

Mostly though, I just hope this is a bang where everyone has a good time and nobody gets hurt.
