I'd suggest some franziskaner dunkel or weissbier. Or Shorts.
Not sure if mine is obscure, but Shorts is from up North, and they have Franziskaner at the Heidelberg, and I find it very delicious and relaxing. Especially in boot form.

I tried the glazed ham and bacon-wrapped stuffing balls Seth posted before Christmas. I was a bit disappointed with the ham, but I think I should have left it in the smoker longer. The stuffing balls were AMAZING. The gravy was also really good. I guess what I'm saying is you should consider at least the stuffing balls as a side to whatever protein you choose.

My girlfriend and I are both really excited to see this movie. I didn't read his book but I know a lot about Chris Kyle, and just his stories from over there are incredible, very excited.

I thought seriously about calling in today, but then I have meetings a 9 AM, 10 AM and 1 PM, all of which I have a role in, so I thought that I might as well come in for those and then about 1:45 PM or so have a sudden flareup of something (haven't decided what), so I can get the weekend - a three-day weekend in my case - started that much sooner.
This weekend might actually be the weekend the Christmas decorations inside and outside the house finally come down too because it will not be fatally cold outside and the snow has receded just enough that we can actually see where most things are now. I had almost forgotten about the big light-up snowman, for example, until the snow fell off his hat yesterday.

my approach to "Friday-itis" has been to make Friday a 4-hr day, and close up shop at noon. The results have been amazing with regard to employee productivity and retention.
