PBR and Masthead Jalapeño IPA. I hoping it’s as good as Xalapa from One Well. Masthead hasn’t disappointed so far in it’s the best brewery in the Cleveland area imho.

Springbank 10 local barley. Also picked up bottles of Springbank 12 cask strength, kilkerran 16, and best of all, Elijah Craig barrel proof batch A121 which just dropped here in Georgia today. I haven't been drunk in a long time but I'm feeling like tonight's the night. Steaks are grilled (thanks XM) and the youngest is away at the in laws. Time to have some fun after a long week!

Just finished a bottle of Elijah Craig small batch barrel pick, most excellent ?. Still waiting for the C920 to show up here in Michigan. Glad you got the A121. Let me know how you like it. Did you get any C920 down there? Have a memorable evening and weekend my friend ?.

My guy at the liquor store thinks C920 is real close. Nobody here or in metro Detroit has it yet. I will keep you posted. Might have to get a double dip, A121 and C920. Thanks for the offer. Still looking for a Rare Breed Rye. Do you want one...

Enjoying it. Freezer is still brimming. I made some curry with the stew meat the other day and it was terrific. Best I've had. Also made a keto meatloaf the other day that was off the charts.

Oxtail went into bo kho (Vietnamese beef and carrot soup) which was also very good. Brother in law has the offal. He thinly sliced the heart and grills the slices individually over a small charcoal grill. I haven't been there to partake of that yet.

Picked up a six of Sierra Wild Little Thing sour ale by accident, since beers nowadays all have crazy wildstyle graphics for some reason and my old eyes misread the label
Got my mother a vaccine appointment scheduled though, and then managed to get that bumped up to next week

Settling for the gripping battle between Maryland and Penn State -- they just put up a graphic showing Penn State had hit 1 of the their last 16 shots, they promptly hit a long 2 to tie the game at 9-9. Enthralling.
On the beverage side, not sure yet what it's going to be. Might knock off a couple of the random Odd Side seltzers I have in the fridge to clear space.

Enjoying a very seasonally inappropriate Leinenkugel Harvest Patch Shandy. Still delicious though.
Had a blast watching Caeb Houstan play on ESPNU. Mt. Verde lost for the first time in 44 games, but Houstan was phenomenal. He hit a clutch three that should’ve won the game for his team, but Sunrise Christian made a desperate 30 foot heave at the buzzer to force overtime and they pulled away in OT . Houstan had 19 points on 10 or 11 shots, 10 boards, and 3 steals. His NBA comparison is Paul George according to ESPN. As a Pacers fan, I love this, and I can see it. He is not the quickest defender, but he moves his feet pretty well and he has incredible length. He looks like Duncan Robinson shooting the three with his textbook form, height, length, and outstanding leaping ability. He rebounds off the ball a lot like Franz Wagner too. He will be a pleasure to watch in Ann Arbor for hopefully a couple of years.

Ha ha!! No worries Mr EQ, spent a couple hours snowblowing the driveway and roof raking the sun room. Got eight inches of snow yesterday and another three last night. My avatar dogs live in Texas, they are my grand-puppies?. Hope you are doing well and staying healthy ?.

Nothing very exciting in my cup tonight, to cap off an unexciting day, and that's a good way to spend a snow day home alone. Read half a novel before lunch, then put together a 550-piece jigsaw puzzle this afternoon. Drinking my dinner, though. Made a milkshake with a bit of added flavorings: creme de cacao and amaretto.
