Friday Night Drinking Thread
So I was browsing the MGoBoard and saw there was no Friday Night Drinking Thread. I think its appropiate that my very first forum topic I create is a drinking thread. Currently sipping on some Wigle Pennsylvania Bourbon. Got it from my whiskey club, I was sketical when I was reading about it, but its actually pretty good. A bit spicy at the start, but it smooths out and you get a nice caramel ish finish on it. Pretty impressive for a bourbon outside of Kentucky. Happy Friday peeps, Go Blue!!!
Drinking some Deschutes The Abyss... probably not going to seek these out anymore. The 2013 version was one of my favorite beers ever but it's been going downhill every year since. Ah well, last bottle to finish off.
Can't decide whether this warrants a "NTTAWWT" or a "No politics!!!!!" Might as well go with both.
So it's more of a "Kevin-Costner-in-Waterworld" thing.
Founders ALL Day IPA and Landshark. Happy Friday everyone. Go Blue 6 weeks away from the season!!
Didn't think this deserved it's own thread (though it *is* still OT season), but Slate has an article about the Hugh Freeze scandal, and it links to Brian's article on the front page. I suspect that will drive a fair amount of clicks to MGoBlog--Slate has a pretty wide readership and it's owned by the Washington Post. Oh, and the author of the piece is a regular Slate writer who I think is a Michigan grad.

(And as for the original topic of this thread--Two Roads Lil Heaven IPA.)
Kinda tame, but I have a long Saturday. I'll be back for a drinking thread tomorrow night if there is one.
On a side note, I was surprised (and pleased) to see my local Meijer actually had some M-43 for $13.99 a four pack.
Elk Brewing PB and J'Ale'ey. Sounded gross when I first tried it, but it actually works.
Dogfish Head 120 Minute IPA.
Sierra Nevada Bigfoot (2017) up to bat.
Corona because I am a tool. Yay me.
Polished off the bottle of Old Forester 1870, just cracked open the Woodford Double Oak.
