DeVeon run is still hard to figure out. Amazing effort. It has my vote.
I was at that game...
also, Lewis' INT at that game needed along the NW sideline needed to be watched several times to understand "what in the hell just happened there?"

Fuck that shit. #1 - we all know what play is likely going to win. #2 - the Michigan vote will be split. #3 - and most importantly...FUCK THE FREEP

I don't recall a punt block that was Play of the Year-worthy. I remember in one game there was a play where a guy flubbed a snap through zero doing of the beneficiary team and after that and a couple other perfect-storm events they happened to return it for a TD. But even that memory is hazy.

Funny the Freep is doing this knowing damn well what the result will be. That #BlueWall, at it again!

Is anyone surprised? As soon as I went to the link (first mistake), I knew IMMEDIATELY what the number one play of the year would be. I almost can't even imagine a universe where any other play would win:  MSU fans and Michigan haterz LOVE the opportunity to troll Michigan. They could have won the Basketball National Championship, had a game winning shot, and this play STILL would win. Anything to tweak Michigan. I am so ready for Harbaugh and Michigan to curb stomp MSU.

The Sparty Fluke will obviously win, but that's OK.  They are having their one last year of quasi-elite status until they become second-class Michiganders again.  I just hope Dantonio sticks around long enough to see his record against Michigan even out.

Michigan will be back on top again. The only question is "how soon."  I vote for 2016.

Why is it we have to constantly say state is gonna go back to mediocrity?? I don't understand why state and Michigan can't be good at the same time. Not to mention with dantonio ur insane if u think their gonna just disappear

Sure, both CAN be good. But why on earth would you ever WANT MSU to be good? I don't care if it's good for the Big Ten or good for the state of Michigan. I want Michigan to be the best. MSU's fanbase has convinced me that they deserve zero respect. Their fans have destroyed any chance of me supporting them, unless their success directly benefits Michigan. And in that scenario, they will undoubtedly find a way to screw it up, as they have in the past.

As a bunch of you have already observed, no doubt Sparty will overwhelm this with votes for the blown punt.  I don't see much point in Michigan fans prostituting themselves with the FP just to have it go Sparty's way anyway.

And I agree--there's a new sheriff in town, and I don't care much whether they gloat over this or not.  Change is coming.

First and foremost, the #1 play still hurts my soul and will never get a vote for anything unless it is Michigan Sports Play Whose Memory Needs The Men In Black Treatment. Now, between the Darboh catch and the Smith TD, I am having a difficult time choosing honestly - both are incredible in their own way and both of them highlight some great awareness of the play and the field.

Easy way to solve this...my guess is that about 5 guys on this board could make a catch like Darboh's. No one could do what Smith did on that run. Smith wins.
