Non surgical broken wrist per Juwan.

Hate to say it but States roster last year was WAY better and more talented than our roster this year even without Langford and the other injuries. We have a lot of question marks going into the season even if Wagner and Johns were not injured. It’s fine though because it is Juwan Howard’s first year as our coach so we should be a bubble team and that is not a problem.

So he’ll be back before the B1G opener in December. Maybe earlier than that if it’s 4 weeks.

Bummer, so he could be back for the Iowa State and Louisville game. Not the worst news since they can still be 4-0 without him to that point. Just sucks for development as a freshmen.

Jesus H. Christ......

Two injuries to the team even before game 1. Whatever we did to deserve these last few years as Michigan sports fans, we're really sorry.

Time to stop letting the football program’s failures overshadow everything.

Yea, I know we've had some unexpected successes but all of those ended in no championship. In fact, I'd say the stuff you listed only proves my point more.

But you aren't wrong that the game this weekend didn't help my psyche with this news.

So the Gods of college sports were talking the other day and the football god said "Since we all agree that we hate Michigan sports more than anything on earth I have decided to have all the best players from the midwest attend Ohio State, have the best coaches coach there and just to make sure their hearts are broken I've made it so their league's commissioner assign only officials who dislike them as much as we do to their games."

The basketball God heard this and said "That's nothing.  I'm going to have their well-loved and universally respected coach leave suddenly for the crappiest NBA team in existence and then let them replace him with a young and upcoming alum who seems to be recruiting even better than the coach he replaced."

The football God heard this and said "how is that going to hurt them?  Remember, we all hate Michigan and have agreed to do all the things a God can do to make them lose.  Sounds to me like you're not trying hard enough."

The basketball God responded.  "I'll make sure all the good players get injured."

Juwan clearly didn't get the memo on reporting injuries to Michigan student athletes.....

'Franz is working through something, he got a little dinged up and we don't expect him to be out long term'
