Quote from JC Latham:

"When I first went to Ohio State back in the spring time for practice, [Coach Mattison] was the first guy I talked to because I knew him right off the bat," Latham told Trieu last weekend. "He was telling me how different Ohio State's program was and how their facilities, practices, culture, all that was a lot better at Ohio State than Michigan. He was really telling me at their school, it's a business and they ran it strict to a T. He was telling me, 'if you're here, I can see you getting developed ten times better than I could see at any other school.' So he was kind of really just breaking the ice with me when I first visited."

Mattison can burn in hell with George Perles. (Is this an appropriate thread for bashing Perles, because I consciously avoided shitting on him in the RIP post.)

Pretty simple too me, get a QB and running back that play and are of 1st round NFL caliber players something we haven’t had in years and the recruiting gap would shrink to nearly even.

Michigan is more concerned with off the field activities, such as the overseas trips.  Even though this does not help winning "the game", Michigan feels it is educational for the student athlete.

In the OSU business, Poindexter takes your online classes for you, cause you ain't here to play skool.

College football is less and less fun every day.

So we have a 17 year old kid telling us what a coach supposedly told him, and we're assuming he's accurate, that OSU recruits better than Michigan. This is not news.

I am sure Michigan has the money to hire additional analysts or people to help the coaching staff with recruiting behind the scenes. Too many times Michigan seems unorganized.

There’s so much BS in the air these days but if anyone loves Benedict Arnold and trusts his words that’s on them.  But I’d like to see what kind$ business it is that he’s mentioning.
