I'm sure when the officials got together to discuss the spot they all agreed Barrett was short. The referee then pointed out that meant the game was over and Michigan had won. After exchanging horrified looks the referee asked if they all thought they could run fast enough to get out of the stadium before being overtaken by 100,000 drunk, pissed off Buckeye fans. They all shook their heads no, and the announcement was made. "First down Ohio State."

I don't care about the spot.  An officiating call of that nature I can live with and if the game only came down to that, I'm okay.  In fact, I'm even okay with incompetent officiating in general if the incompetence is fairly distributed.  In most poorly officiated games, the bad calls go both ways and even out in the end.  But the officiating in this game was beyond the pale.  Every goddam call and non-call went against Michigan.  It begs the question whether the game was fixed.  I'm not saying it was, only that the officiating rightfully lends itself to that speculation.  That's how bad the refs were.  Fuck the refs and fuck the B1G for not holding them accountable.  

I just had to vent.  

If the ref is from Grand Rapids, he's more likely to be an MSU fan, which means he would still be anti-Michigan. Not guaranteed, but more likely.

As long as Alabama just frickin curb stomps OSU by 40 I'm happy.

I want Saban to just drag Meyer out into the street, shove his mouth into the curb, and kick down on it as hard as he possibly can. Total GoW style.
