First Day of Spring Practice OL
One configuration of the 1st Team OL today had:
LT - Cole
LG - Bredeson
C - Ruiz
RG - Onwenu
RT - JBB
Not something one couldn't have predicted, but it is interesting to see that the coaches are indeed open to move Cole from center and are trusting enough of Ruiz early on to let him man the middle of the line.
That's all, short post. Just anxious to get back into football mode.
I would figure this would happen Kugler is not ready and has not lived up to his hype and Chuck Filiaga is simply not as ready as Ruiz is.
hasn't enrolled yet

I'll show myself out.
March 24th, 2017 at 10:31 PM ^
... yeah, but still
Is it normal for a guy to not have enrolled yet and spring practice has started? Or am I not happy unless I'm concerned.
March 25th, 2017 at 11:57 AM ^
he hasn't graduated high school yet. it's only March.
It's March. You don't know how ready Filiaga will be by September.
be informed if your going to comment. day one and you have already set the lineup..
Shut the fuck up your fucking trash
This isn't YouTube or IMDB (moment of silence for the worst cesspool of commenters on the internet): that kind of language and attack is likely to get you banned. Have we seen you here before?
You're*
:)
I think you're going to do juuuuuust fine here.
Act respectable!
Whoa Kemosabe!
March 25th, 2017 at 10:40 AM ^
Just because you didn't get any last night doesn't mean you must be a total jerk on here.
If I was a jerk online every time I didn't get any...The world would not be a happy place.
of celibacy?
It's cancelled out by the "Lando" part. Lando is the anti- vow of celibacy.
And the way things have been going lately, I may as well have taken that vow...

Time for another new account loser
March 25th, 2017 at 11:04 AM ^
That was my teenager on my account. He is a hot head means well he can be a dumb kid.
March 25th, 2017 at 12:04 PM ^
If my sons use that kind of language on the internet when they're teenagers, I'll be the hot head.
March 25th, 2017 at 12:32 PM ^
issues to address. good luck.
I don't know why a parent would call his/her kid "dumb," even if it's true.
An uneducated asshole, and a liar. Winning combination.
You're.
You're trash. Spell it right, if you're going to insult people.
Chuck was probably in 2nd period when the practices were happening.
is unconcerned about his inability to make the Spring depth chart while not in Ann Arbor.
March 25th, 2017 at 10:43 AM ^
Yeah, he is probably working on his promposal.
On second thought, probably doesn't have to worry too much about that.
March 25th, 2017 at 12:22 AM ^
What the hell are you so worked about?
Ah, these are the fans that I so enjoy during March and April - one unexpected configuration of one unit and we're doomed and so and so isn't ready or as good as we thought and so forth.
This is the sort of thing that makes sitting in the stands at the Spring Game actually a hilarious affair, if you're into that sort of thing.
"One configuration" of the o line practice. Don't start the transfer rumors just yet, my dude.

Pretty darn disappointing for Kugler. Being the son of the former OL coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers, I thought he was more of a sure thing than Kalis when he committed.
Hope he can still prove me wrong next year.
March 25th, 2017 at 12:56 PM ^
I was expecting big things from Kugler. I hope this is a good year for him.
I think he's going to transfer. Just reading between the lines a bit, nothing that I know for certain.
That's what I'm afraid of. Even if he wasn't going to start, losing that depth could really hurt. I hope he stays and fights for a starting spot.
Idk if this comment will be seen, but I actually think Kugler is getting an equal shot with Ruiz. You don't just assume a freshman will beat out a senior and Kugler did play against Hawaii. He may not have lived up to his recruiting hype yet, but he's got one offseason to hold off a freshman and I think he'll be afforded that chance.
March 25th, 2017 at 10:09 PM ^
Saw several snaps of Kugler to Speight.
ended, but I was hopeful we would get Isiah Wilson and he would compete at RT. Everybody was saying Ruiz was college ready, so no a real surprise. Anhy word on Filiaga?
Filiaga is in Texas right now
March 24th, 2017 at 11:33 PM ^
he's not gonna make the first team from Texas! Smh
he should be practicing via satellite.
Isn't this the reason Satalite camps exist? I would think there was a reason the SEC wouldnshit their pants about it... this is a decent reason? No? Well... dang...
Guys, it's just time to admit Filiaga isn't going to pan-out and pull his scholly.
NOW is the time for all good men to come to the aid of the party! (and the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog..)
March 25th, 2017 at 10:04 AM ^
At least misspell 'satellite' within one deviation...
and he's still in Texas. Meanwhile, Harbaugh chooses a new pants brand? Coincidence?
word is he is still in high school
How much more difficult is it for a true frosh non-early enrollee to see playing time / challenge for a starting position than an early enrollee? I would assume it's even more difficult at O-line where everybody needs to work in concert
were both playing as non-early enrollees
March 25th, 2017 at 12:07 PM ^
Yes, but that doesn't mean they wouldn't have been better off had they been EEs. And neither started from day one, Bredeson was originally put in for injury purposes.
