Fire Hoke

Submitted by LordGrantham on

It's time. There is more than enough evidence. Can anyone give one good reason why this guy should remain head coach at Michigan?  He was a mediocre MAC coach and has shown nothing to suggest that he's capable of leading us to success.  Fire him now, and take Brandon with him.  I'm really not being emotional here, it's just objectively obvious.  The guy is a bad coach.

Posts like this make me sad. Hoke's one of the elite applauders in college football. The guy can clap and scream encouragements just when we need it, like when we fall behind in every road game ever. He can nod and show real emotion when we run up the middle for two yards, down four possessions in the fourth quarter. He's stoic enough to stand firm in the ever-changing waters of college football and say "not me" before clapping and telling someone to "Let's Go." He is my coach, will be my coach, from now to whenever I wake up from this damn tequila.

Do any of you think Brandon is going to fire the man he hired to save the program? Brandon is a big ego, former CEO of two firms that sold shit products. The AD is making money hand over fist and just got the biggest donation ever after a crap season. He can do no wrong, in his own mind, and the new president will not care. Neither man is going anywhere soon.

There is another way to create positive change.

The Regents hire or fire the University President - the University President hires or fires the A.D .- the A.D. hires or fires the Head Coach.

In November there is an election where the Regents are either retained or voted out by the electorate - US. If we vote out the Regents that are for the status quo, and put in new ones that want positive change, they could fire this President, and put in one that cares about the football program, and the domino effect will take care of the rest.

For those of you who think that I am being an unreasonable douch, forgive me, it is a product of what I have just watched for the last three and a half hours.

I know this is my first post and all, but I get on here all the time.  I'm a high school football coach and I get second guessed all the time and then I get on here and hear all the great coaches give their opinion.  I'm a huge Michigan fan and I'm from ohio.  My line struggles badly right now and that's cause the previous coach didn't prepare them. Home came in with hardly any line recruits and you want it to change overnight.  Line in the one place where it takes time.  We will be fine and if your a true fan you root no matter what the outcome.

any different than the bowl loss that sealed RR's fate, other than the time of the season it took place at. Short of of winning 9-10 games, and beating MSU or OSU on the road I don't see anything that could change the perception of this team and Hoke right now. That is clearly a longshot right now.

I'm rooting for the 49ers to have a terrible season. Harbaugh hasn't enjoyed the pros as much as he thought he would. With his big ego and style, he fits a lot better in college. Come home you stubborn son of a bitch.

ND HC Kelly just said they played 19 Freshman or RS Freshman and cleaned our clocks!  But...I thought you could win if you had too much youth!

How soon before we start hearing how this is about youth or the last remnants of RRs recruits. Please tell me the apologist can stop defending this staff.

Good luck getting me to shell out the $1500 I pay for tickets and seat licenses next year. Bull shit product. Bull shit coach. No fun. Not entertaining. I feel sorry for the players.

what to think. Defense the supposed strength sucked. Offense played to worst case expectation. Firing Hoke now won't fix anything. Start a search now maybe and do something at end of the year if things continue like tonight
