Mods, feel free to delete if it's too off topic. But I had to share this with the board.

I had to select the "old embed code" from youtube.

The mods would just as soon destroy a stained glass window.

Some of those were pretty forced, but all in all a pretty good job by the ESPN guys. Just a shame they couldn't work a holocaust cloak reference in there.

Ed ruling: TOTALLY ON TOPIC! In fact the movie itself makes this case:
Grandson: Has it got any sports in it?
Grandpa: Are you kidding? Fencing, fighting, torture, revenge, giants, monsters, chases, escapes, true love, miracles...
Ace and the rest of the miserable, vomitous mass of Millenials who don't appreciate the intricate connections between football and Princess Bride are the Queen of Slime, the Queen of Filth, the Queen of Putrescence. Boo. Boo. Rubbish. Filth. Slime. Muck. Boo. Boo. Boo.

Vizzini: Finish him. Finish him, your way.
Fezzik: Oh good, my way. Thank you Vizzini... what's my way?
Vizzini: Pick up one of those rocks, get behind a boulder, in a few minutes the man in black will come running around the bend, the minute his head is in view, hit it with the rock.
Fezzik: My way's not very sportsman-like.

Thanks for sharing this!
I thought they worked in the "life is pain" quote very well really, and for many of the Cowboys fans I know anyway, it was very appropriate this season.

That's some classic stuff. I think when we hit the off-season we need to come up with a top 10 list of all time favorite movies.

On Topic.
The boy in Princess Bride had a Bears shirt on. The Bears drafted David Terrell and Anthony Thomas.
Therefore, ON TOPIC.

You mean a young Fred Savage on the brink of winning young Winnie Cooper's heart?

Also - not just any Bears shirt, but a Walter Payton jersey (though in the poster's defense he is under a blanket for most of the film)

I grew up a Lions fan, so I must have blocked that memory out.

Inigo Montoya: Fezzik, are there rocks ahead?
Fezzik: If there are, we all be dead.

Such a great movie, so many lines...
"Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die." has always been my favorite and the first thing I think of when I hear "Princess Bride".
I can't remember the exact words, but loved the part where the giant is whining that it's not fair fighting one guy since he's used to fighting "packs of men". LOL
