CJ, I'm not against "a new uniform for one game", as you put it, unless it's a downright abomination. However, see Yostal's post just a few above yours. DB's had them in 7 different uniform looks in 13 games in his first year on the job. With the Bama game, that's now 8 looks in 14 games. If a kid is selecting a school soley, or even largely, based on the phreshness of the uni's, let him go to Oregon. |

Well said. And the sentiment has been growing stronger every year. I was a fan of the Red Wings even when they were the "Dead Things".... their style of play and team make-up would determine more of how much I watched them than their record. For me, Michigan has a much larger foundation of history and tradition, and that means all these little tinkering, remaking, re-imaging's have less of an effect (again, for me), but they do have an effect. |

Snark can be fun. But you either missed or ignored his point that UM does not belong to DB, nor any single current collection of players. Their likes and dislikes are not as relevant as the need for Michigan to maintain it's identity and ties to generations of not just 'football', but Michigan Football. "Caretakers" is a tremendous description of everyone associated with Michigan, and should especially apply to those actually making the decisions. There is a difference between the change and innovations brought by a man like Canham, and the current "me too!" approach. |

In all seriousness, I think the role of a manager is more over-rated in baseball than in any other sport, but I do think he's outcoached on a consistent basis. Notice how I was able to state my opinion and not refer to anyone who thinks otherwise as a "dumbass moron"? |

The list demonstrates that your taste in music is fairly diverse; however, 95% of this should never be played at UM stadium, imho. The purpose of the music isn't to show how cool the DJ is... it should be to incite, move, pump-up the crowd. That said, and given the audience, between Motown, Iggy, Eminem, Seger, Kid Rock, Nugent, Howling Diablos, White Stripes, Suicide Machines, etc. there are probably better choices. I do like the M83 and Tribe references, though. I'd be curious to see how Seger's "Feel Like a Number", Nugent's "Stranglehold" and Howling Diablo's "Prison Train" would be received at UM stadium. |

Take what Magnus has to say with a grain of salt. I'm loving everything I see from this staff's ability to identify talent. Their opinions trump the dogmess out of those from some dude who's seen the kids less than the staff has. |
