I'm so unbelievably bored by the shit that keeps cropping up on this board. Does anyone have suggestions about what I can do to keep myself occupied until the football season begins? Maybe I'll start painting pictures on my computer of my favorite Michigan players? Does that sound cool?

to know there's someone tracking with me. I'm in Ludington this weekend, salmon fishing. An All-Blue crew on the boat, too. There will be discussion of Forcier and JT and BG and all the other blue stuff under then sun, but it will be secondary to the greater cause- getting drunk on a boat.

If you're in a buying or looking at random crap with the possibility of buying it mood, then I suggest woot.com. They have one thing on the site to buy every day for a deal. They only have so many of the daily item though, so once they run out they run out. I believe yesterday it was starwars bobbleheads and the day before it was an HP tablet computer. It won't really burn much of your time, but it's a good site to check out once in a while.

Have you tried sporcle.com? Depending on how wide your interests are, it should keep you entertained for a day or two. Here are some good ones: Name the college football rivalry Name the college town Name the teams with the most March Madness appearances Name every Division 1-A team's nickname Name every Heisman winner since 1980 Like many things on the Internet, it may sound dumb but it's highly addictive.

My summer hobby has been learning how to home brew beer. What else can I say, it's a pretty awesome way to pass time.

My px for CFB downtime blues is as follows. 1, install regulation dart board, musicbox, and mini fridge in secure area of living space 2, select beverage and cheese of choice 3, pick a Michigan schedule and play a CFB version of cricket and try to win more games in a season than Richrod or previous uofm coach 4, 16 rounds = a game (i.e., 4 rounds = a quarter), no points, if you can close out you win and you try to run the table/ win all regular season games. If things go well, you earn a bowl game. EG., I am probably average at darts and in the midst of M's 09 schedule. I started 6-0 before losing to del st and pennst. After Trouncing the illini last night, I am bowl elligible at 7-2. This is my best season to date and usually I usually struggle to maintain a winning record.

He only has so much time. Tracking down some of the APR stuff. Figuring out correlations between stars and actual performance. Trying to identify what x factors lead recruits to be overrated or underrated. Doing this for the competition. There are plenty of things we'd like to know.

....this board reminds me of a high school party in which all the guys are getting hammered waiting for the girls to show up. Anyone for some Foghat?

1) Somebody was bringing up stumbleupon.com maybe a month ago - I definitely find myself there when I have time to burn. 2) Flickchart.com 3) failblog.org 4) Read the story about how the Taco Bell dog died yesterday and cry your eyes out for the rest of the day.

You should follow the Tigers. It's every bit as agonizing/frustrating as following M football. (My theory is that Tacopants now attends Tiger games and, with his extremely powerful lungs, blows would-be sacrifice flies back into the infield for popups.)
