Edit: The Indiana Goes Down @ Home to Ohio State...We Have a Chance...Beat Purdue Thread

Submitted by B-Nut-GoBlue on

Big potential looms large tonight (for those of you on the Moon, the potential is that we still have a shot at a Big Ten Title if Indiana loses tonight and we beat them Sunday, AFTER beatin Purdue tomorrow night).  We essentially become big Ohio State fans for the second year in a row.  They can pull it off, but will they?  Tune in at 9:00 on the Big Ten Network brought to you by Rotel and "I've got your 6", and find out.  EDIT: Ignore that garbage, it's on ESPN.  Sowwy.

Iowa has Illinois at home, as we speak.  This would have been a huge game for Iowa if they hadn't lost to Nebraska last week.  Now it's merely, meh-big.  Doug Gotlieb (spelling?) now on CBS Sports, has Iowa as a Last Four In; he's the only one (except for possbily me, if they can win two BTT games).

Duke at Virginia Tech, as we speak.

Arkansas at Mizzou, as we speak (if anyone is interested in Arkansas).  Arkansas is a Bubble Team to many analysts.  This would be a big Win for them.

Ugh.  Go Buckeyes.

...I know I am dreaming but that would just be awesome if Ohio pulls this upset AND Michigan beats Purdue on road AND then avenges road loss to IU in Ann Arbor to cap off one of the best BIG seasons I can remember and in the process wins share of the BIG and secures either a 1 or 2 seed in Tourney! Cherry on top would be all the prospective Team 135 members in attendance that instantaneously commit on the spot! I know...I know...but it is nice to dream big!

hopes up here, and it's past my bedtime!

Man, does OSU play some great D.

Goaltend, but Dan doesn't care--he's an Indiana fan, after all. Second bad call against OSU in as many minutes.

Is a moron. Only if Homedepot sits the rest of the games would Burke win the POY. Burke only ave 5 more points and guarantee he has better assist/turnover ratio the Depot. Fire this Troll for being a biased homer. He Dick IU shit canned you cause you sucked.

Ok.....stop me if you've heard this one before.

OSU Fouls:  7 (and counting....just got another one as I typed this)

Indiana Fouls: 1

Assembly Hall....where opposing teams play 5 against 8 every game.

But Craft is a really solid college player. Brings energy, leadership and poise every night. Like to see some level of consistency in the B10 on charging. Call it either way, but don't make us guess on every single play.

Charge call is ruining the game.  It's such an arbitrary call anymore it's laughable.  Even when the teams I root for get a crappy call their way in the form of said charge call, I shake my head in disgust.

God I thought I would NEVER say this but I actually feel bad for OSU fans right now.  If I was one of them I would've punched a hole in my TV, my wall, my cat, etc by now.

This is bad even by Assembly Hall standards.  Why won't the B1G do something about the raging incompetence/pussification of the officials?

we've had the refs determined to hand the B1G championship to IU over the last five minutes, with call after bad call, and Dan Jockitch repeatedly supporting them, saying he doesn't care if they're bad calls. Heaven help us.

Can we get him for Sundays game? Seeing as Dickitch keeps getting IU games to spew his IU love maybe we can get Jalen spewing UM love.

This is a damn tough conference. Ohio looks every bit of a top 6-8 team tonight, maybe better considering where they are playing and the foul disparity. Absolutely brutal defense.

Gonzaga playing each of these teams, twice, and adding a couple each against us, Minnesota, Sparty and Wiscy? Assume they play ten against that crowd, hard for me to see them doing better than splitting.
