I can't imagine being a starter and not going to Madison, that would blow.

Still, I'm happy to hear this as there was some talk in the Zack thread from people I don't distrust, that DPJ wasn't traveling. Go Blue!

People saying a player wouldn’t travel if they definitely won’t play, but wouldn’t the threat of DPJ playing be worth more than our 70th best player. I would rather Wisconsin knows a star player is out at game time, than the night before.

I think that is sometimes true, but we don’t have 70 dudes that are playing tomorrow.  There are instances of players traveling undressed all the time.  I think this is a very good sign if I had to pick, but maybe DPJ and Dwumfour wanted to go and pulled rank and some freshman special teams player got the short stick.  I know Gary did not travel last year, and nothing bad on him (who voluntarily goes to East Lansing?) but that isn’t always the case.

It is possible that Gary just did not feel like making the trip. Nobody really knows for sure.  Like I said, it was EL, once you’ve smelled that place you’ve smelled it, no reason to torture himself.

On another note, USC’s third string QB just went Brett Farve on Utah in four plays.  Why is this shit so hard for us? This “offense” stuff just doesn’t look that hard.

Why do you post shit like this?!

”Glad, but ...”  They got the ball to playmakers over and over early vs MTSU then shut it down, and they tried vs Army but missed then got into a slugfest.

Its just so, “Dur hur! Throw the ball ... amirite?!”  and childish!

I think Dwumfour made it one play before hurting something vs. MTSU. Hopefully he's healed enough to not re-injure his hand and/or foot.

If DPJ does nothing but fair catch punts, that will be a plus for the team.
