Does the CFP Committee Have The Balls To Do The Right Thing?
Michigan is the clear #1 seed in mind. We deserve to play the fourth best team in the CFP; that is Cincinnati. Fuck the SEC and not wanting a rematch on NYE. Do the right thing and seed us #1 against the fourth best team, Cincinnati. Let those SEC fuckers play each other in a boring semi final that nobody will care about.
Do the right thing!!

There is absolutely zero objective reason why Alabama should be ahead of Michigan
December 4th, 2021 at 11:40 PM ^
They did just dismantle the last undefeated Power 5 team on the biggest stage possible. However, any normal week and Michigan would simply slide up to #1 after this performance and the UGA loss.
December 5th, 2021 at 12:14 AM ^
Ok, and we destroyed the #2 and #12 team in the country by 54 fucking points. What else does it take?
December 5th, 2021 at 12:41 AM ^
Georgia played no one this year and was exposed.
Michigan is the best one loss team in the country because even the big 10 admitted Michigan would have won against MSU except for the ref’s bad calls.

On any other week of the year if #1 lost by 17 god damn points they arent dropping just 2 spots. Not ever.
we are so brainwashed by SEC bullshit we all just eat up Georgia at #3 .
December 5th, 2021 at 9:35 AM ^
Rice, right but this is the last week for the committee to decide who the best 4 teams are right now. Alabama and unfortunately Georgia are 2 of the best 1loss teams @ this point,Michigan,Cincinnati,Alabama, Georgia is my guess @ the rankings or Alabama @ 2 and Cincinnati @ 3 doesn’t affect who plays who. I really think Cincinnati should be one of the middle teams.
December 5th, 2021 at 3:59 AM ^
A team that had nothing to play for except trying to keep Alabama out of the playoff, and there’s no particular reason to think that Georgia didn’t want Alabama in the playoff.
December 5th, 2021 at 7:11 AM ^
Lol at nothing to play for…it was a freaking conference championship. Literally one of the most meaningful games of the year. I’m sure Kirby smart and UGA were content rolling over for Bama…jeez.
December 5th, 2021 at 11:30 AM ^
This is the ESS-EEE-SEE we're talking about, not the Big Ten. It's no different than an NFL game where one team has secured its playoff seed and the other is fighting for a berth. Do you really think Georgia wanted to risk injury just to keep Alabama out of the playoffs, when they play in a conference that loves to take credit for each others' accomplishments anyway? Two playoff teams means two chances for the conference to win national title number 19,580 in the last fifteen years.
Do I believe that somebody called up Coach Smart and explained that several Georgia recruiting violations would be exposed if Georgia won? No. Would it shock me if somebody proved that? No. That's ESS-EEE-SEE football.
December 5th, 2021 at 7:31 AM ^
And two weeks ago Alabama had a 99% probability to lose to Auburn with a minute left until the Auburn kid ran out of bounds and stopped the clock for no reason. Over the last two weeks Michigan has been the better team by far and we should absolutely be ranked #1.
December 5th, 2021 at 8:34 AM ^
With in half hour of the game ending last night fan duel already had open lines for Bama -16 vs Cincinnati and Georgia -9 vs UM. Do they know something? Fix already in
December 4th, 2021 at 11:37 PM ^
Of course they don't.
December 4th, 2021 at 11:37 PM ^
December 4th, 2021 at 11:38 PM ^
Nope. Bring on the bulldogs.
December 4th, 2021 at 11:42 PM ^
I like your confidence, but a solid Georgia D looking for redemption is not to be overlooked.
December 5th, 2021 at 2:32 AM ^
I hear what you are saying, but they are only getting better…remarkable to see. I don’t think this team gives a fuck who is in front of them, they are going to win the individual battles against anyone. I see them winning it all
December 4th, 2021 at 11:39 PM ^
42-3 says hay!
December 4th, 2021 at 11:58 PM ^
Iowa's worst loss since 1999
(49-3 to Saban's MSU in Ferentz's first season.)
December 4th, 2021 at 11:40 PM ^
Bring on the SEC
December 4th, 2021 at 11:40 PM ^
Plus a Michigan-Ga or Michigan-Bama final would have WAY higher TV rating than GA-BAMA final
December 5th, 2021 at 12:38 AM ^
That is actually a good point.
December 5th, 2021 at 8:30 AM ^
Exactly right. I hope the committee realizes that anything that Michigan touches turns to gold (ratings, attendance, etc.)
December 4th, 2021 at 11:41 PM ^
Things that don't go together: Balls, right thing, and anything involving the NCAA.
December 4th, 2021 at 11:44 PM ^
B1G Ass Overtaken!!
December 4th, 2021 at 11:46 PM ^
I like Cade McNamara's answer (along with Hutchinson and Haskins), "I don't care."
Bring on Georgia!
December 5th, 2021 at 12:16 AM ^
Have to win two games no matter what. Would be nice if it wasn’t UGA and Bama, but agree with his sentiment. Have to win no matter what to move on.
December 4th, 2021 at 11:47 PM ^
Hell, OSU is probably the 2nd best team in the country right now.
December 5th, 2021 at 12:57 AM ^
Hate to compliment the enemy, but yeah, probably
December 4th, 2021 at 11:48 PM ^
Sadly, I'm guessing no they don't.
The correct draw should be:
Orang Bowl: Michigan vs Cincinnati
Cotton Bowl: Alabama vs Georgia
December 5th, 2021 at 12:56 AM ^
You are correct. But Mich is gonna get the shaft. Bama will be 1

If this is about money then the broadcast partners will bring tremendous pressure to bear on the committee. Michigan moves the needle. Period. Best outcome for them is a Michigan / SEC final. Another rematch game in the finals will draw crickets in comparison.
just throwing that out there.
December 4th, 2021 at 11:52 PM ^
If I were a betting man, I would put money down on the following order:
1. Michigan
2. Alabama
3. Georgia
4. Cincinnati
The committee does not want an all-SEC national championship game, particularly a rematch. They also don't want to be accused of giving the #1 team a much harder opponent at #4.
December 5th, 2021 at 12:05 AM ^
This is the correct answer.
I think.
December 5th, 2021 at 12:12 AM ^
The most compelling finals ratings match up would be UM vs. SEC not Bama vs GA part deux. So NCAA should get that dawg of a draw off the table in the semifinals and preserve the bigger draw for the finals.
I like how you're thinking...
December 5th, 2021 at 1:10 AM ^
What makes you think the committee does NOT want an all SEC national championship game? If I had to guess, I'd say they're drooling over the mere thought of that.
The SEC will ALWAYS get the benefit of the doubt, the special treatment, the over the top hype that any non-SEC schools (save for Clemson and OSU) could only hope for.
December 4th, 2021 at 11:52 PM ^
Alabama looked shoddier in the last 2/3 of the season than Michigan did. Everyone though Ohio State was the team to threaten the SEC and Michigan crushed them under their boot.
December 5th, 2021 at 1:19 AM ^
This…also UGA and Bama should play a “prove it” game.
December 4th, 2021 at 11:54 PM ^
The committee will give us 1, but we will still play Georgia.
December 5th, 2021 at 12:00 AM ^
They should just have the 1-seed choose whom they want to play
December 5th, 2021 at 12:44 AM ^
That’s amazing. Yes.
December 5th, 2021 at 12:17 AM ^
I would think the committee would want to avoid, at all costs, an SEC final and the low ratings it's sure to draw. The only way to avoid that is for an SEC semifinal.
December 5th, 2021 at 12:28 AM ^
I was just saying this to my kid, I totally agree, an all SEC final would be a ratings disaster. They will be licking their chops at the idea of a UM/Alabama final.
December 4th, 2021 at 11:54 PM ^
Even if they put Michigan #1, they would put Georgia at #4
December 4th, 2021 at 11:54 PM ^
100% agree and more so for the viewers. Potentially setting up an all SEC title game is a disaster. Check LSU Bama game when LSU never scored a point in the NC. What a snooze fest
go blue! #1
December 4th, 2021 at 11:55 PM ^
The committee will come up with some bullshit reason to claim that Alabama beating Georgia is the greatest win ever justifying why it should jump Michigan which produced a more dominant win over a solid opponent. Twenty eight second half points while shutting out the Hawkeyes. Domination.
