well that's just, like, your opinion, man
De La Salle - Cass Tech Live Stream
Not to be annoying but how is this off topic?
Haha, it's my first thread. I was nervous and wanted to air on the safe side. Also, just noticed its already been posted, so much fail all around. Sorry for my failures. *hangsheadinshame
What time does the game start?
7 PM from what I heard.
"and wanted to air on the safe side."
Sorry. I feel like I just nutpunched you, but I couldn't resist.
I didn't start posting until this football season...
At least you didn't go with the SIAP tag
I scanned the existing threads but the other post starts with Moegocontest - Illinoize edition
Thats De La Salle so everyone knows...'08 alum
The live stream will start in the "centerpiece" area just before 7 p.m. And yes, it's free.
Looks like there are four games tonight -- at 7, just click on the one you want to watch. They're all listed just under the video player. DLS-Cass Tech is listed lower right.
Does anyone know what channel this would be on direcTV? I turned it to foxdetroit and hockey is on...
The webcasts are separate from the telecasts, so the DLS-Cass Tech game probably won't be on TV. There's typically one game selected for TV and then the website picks up whatever the other best options are. Long story short, the cable companies don't like simulcasts.
I would rather watch on tv, but at least I can still watch... I appreciate it...
Let's go Sugar Shane!!!
This play-by-play guy is pumped.
Yeah, he probably should have stopped at one 5-hour Energy drink.
Joe COCKran does a lot of DLS sporting events. I remember playing spectator in the student section for him. It was a simple section split cheer. One side yelling "JOE" and they other "COCK." Oh the days of single-sex education.
QB Jayru Campbell has a live arm. Just a freshman too! Could we possibly be watching two future blue QB's?
Denard could show Jayru a few tricks on how to tame that mane, too.
Just learned that Shane Morris is also the punter, then saw him fake the punt and throw for the first down. And I didn't think I could love this recruit any more.
Hoke has discussed the possibility of punting with Shane. it sure would add an extra dimension to the rollout fake.
Anyone know what numbers TRich and RJS wear?
is number 10. Trich is either 6 or 9 i think. Jourdan Lewis is 1 iirc for CT too
Shane Morris with the fake punt!
To be fair, it was off a deflection, but it seemed catchable.
Wow, #12 Lyle turned on the jets.
I was impressed. He just out ran (almost) everybody.
Run a pitch sweep, Wilcher. Get the edge because your line is not getting it done.
These drops are killing DLS right now.
Morris needs better targets.
with a nice punt.
Catch the ball in the basket. I have that problem with all my receivers who want to turn their shoulders to catch the ball, rather than continuing to run and let the ball fall into the basket.
Memories of Braylon in the Rose Bowl
Wow, the DLS receivers are just flat out turrible.
Wow Shane's stat line for tonight is gonna be horrible. Two turnovers already.
make that three, in his defense..faced pressure all game and his WR have been dropping balls all over the place.
This guy is jacked up for both teams. I love it. Makes me more excited about the game.
Shane Morris with a 50-yard punt. I guess one of his stat lines is going to be good then.
They should just do that every play.
eating tons of time running up the middle
is so much bigger then the DeLeSalle players he gets good yardage - but he's not a runner.
4th and 2 from the 5. I'm assuming CT doesn't have a kicker. Otherwise this is a no-brainer right?
RJS up the gut for the TD!
22 play 10:53 drive for CT
10:53 drive lol
Wow great job Cass Tech. DLS could get nothing going offensively
Pretty bad performance for Morris.
and nobody could catch anything. We know the kid can play. When he's played at camps with quality lines and recievers, he's been incredible.
but he had some poor throws and he's not going to be happy about this one. He seems to be dipping the ball, causing a longer wind-up I don't remember him having.
But your point is valid, he's got the skills. So many drops, including that last deep one, it's hard to judge his performance
he had no time in the pocket, always had to rollout. His receivers couldn't get seperation and were dropping balls. That said Shane's gotta be smarter with the ball...one the INTs was on him and the fumble.
No one's hitting the QB in camp. It matters. The kid's undeniably got that physical talent that gets magnified at camps, but performance while getting hit (and the threat thereof) really ends up separating good quarterbacks from mediocre ones at the end of the day.
Next week vs. Eisenhower in the semifinals. Will be a tough one for Tech - Ike puts up some points. Eisenhower was up 35-0 in 3rd quarter and the subs came in to give up some garbage time points.
That sucked... Got there just in time to hear the announcer say "And Cass Tech goes to the finals! All they gotta do is take two knees."
if you had showed up when the game started, you wouldn't have had that problem
1) anyone see that kid doing flips off the sideline
2) it looked like someone on CT was under a pile getting his ass beat haha.
Has strange footwork on his drop - looks like a righty going back and then has to shift to his left side.
they went to him when they needed it, and he carried them to the win. Great job
Some of the kool-aid in here is hilarious..The fact is, he was not good tonight..The good thing is, he has another year in hs. Kid has all the tools..Just need to keep working on improving.
While the game was streamed live, Fox Sports also auto archives its streams and you can replay them right there on the PrepZone page. If you missed the game live, you should be able to go back and watch it later tonight.
CT has a good defense though
Was at the game... Lewis (#1 for Cass) is awesome. The kid is going to be a stud. I hope Shane can get him to go blue with him for the 2013 class. I still think we are missing a good one in Laron Taylor (#8). RJS, Shane and Terry are what everybody thinks and hope they are/will be, very good football players.
Saw this one live. Shane was definitelty impressive, but his receivers were not. When you consider that they were going up against two D1 quality corners, it is no wonder they could not get open. And when they did, they dropped it. Shane had nobody open and had little choice but to force things.
Also heard his receivers had 14 drops against plymouth, to give it some perspective.
Not gonna judge Morris from that performance. As everyone else has said his receivers couldnt get open and he was constantly pressured all game. Jordan Lewis really impressed me out there. It was the first time seeing him play and im hoping he commits. Does anyone know if hes got an offer? Stones speed and athleticism really stood out to me. This kid is the real deal. Dont expect him to turn out like BWC in terms of his development.
Hoke discussed him punting? Publicly? Pretty sure Hoke can't talk about him until after signing day 2013. Shane must have said that Hoke was open to it.
I am in Raleigh and could not watch, but did he live up to the billing?
put up.... zero points. While I'm sure he is much better than he performed this one day, hopefully, we can reduce the verbal masterbation about him for the next two years
