Dayne Crist is done for the year

Sorry for lack of link--I just moved and have no TV so I'm at a bar watching football but it was just reported that Crist is out for the year with a leg injury. Gotta believe ND is done with him.

I want Tulsa or Army to clip them so bad so they can't go to a bowl. I'm sitting at a bar in State College and the cheers against ND and Sparty have united us Michigan fans and the Penn St denizens... Well, for a few hours anyway!

There a lot of  things I've typed and deleted.  I still can't get over that poor kid in the tower the other day so I'm going to just let this one pass.............

When Alex Flannegan asked Brian Kelly in the end-of-the-half interview how Crist's injury will affect the team, his verbatim response was "oh, we're over that."

Kelly's concern for his players' health is touching... or maybe he just REALLY doesn't like Dayne Crist.

Kelly resigns (but that would require integrity) or gets fired for what has happened at Notre Dame. He is clearly Archduke Douchebag (of Douchebags).

Resign for what? Bad record, accidental death (which it is debatable how responsible he personally is for it), or a player injury?

Unless I missed something in the ND game today (watching MSU v. Iowa), I'm not sure why he would resign if he had any integrity.

That was such a stupid play by him. He had the first down he saw the guy coming towards him why not run out of bounds before gettting clocked

That's the second patellar tendon that Dayne Crist has ruptured.  Notre Dame is our non-conference rival, but that just sounds so painful.  I do hope Crist recovers form his injury.
