Anyone else hear the Michigan Marching Band start this impromptu chant yesterday when Cone was getting his reps?
That was awesome.
Actually it was started by the seniors to the right of the band. It was a good chant, I hope Cone heard it.
You were loud and clear in section 9 (which is in the SE corner and opposite the Student Section.) If we could hear it, so could Da Coner.
Not a good cheer, since "Cone" is only one syllable. Not everything fits into that sing-song rhythm which is the only pattern the students know. A good thought though.
I thought they were rooting for David Cohen, Jewish finance superstar in the B-School.
he absolutely dominates the discounted cash flow models
I guess someone should tell the band to teach the students what to do, but then we'll have to deal with the rest of the stadium not being able to hear the students and several opera chants.
Has there ever been a 4th string QB with as much of a fan club than Cone? I know i was joining in on the cheer. I love to see this guy get reps.
The Jack Kennedy Fan Club meets every Tuesday morning in the church basement. Doughnuts provided.
there ARE donuts provided? sweet
this was obviously negged due to the different spelling of doughnuts.
That was a great chant, but it happened right as he was trotting out under center, and people on the sideline were trying to quiet the student section down so the Coner could concentrate.
I was told the Coner Fan Club has punch and pie. And sweet tea.
The JKFC needs to step its game up to compete wit dat, yo.
We also have coffee, but you need to use a LOT of cream.
Wouldn't it be sweet if they played some of Coner's stuff during the game? I'm tired of hearing that same White Stripes song every week. I want to hear some Notorious C-O-N-E!
got going literally during sheridan's first drive and picked up steam untill he finally came in ....
it was yesterday's second most popular chant after "Bolier UP"
it was fun to replace 'lets go blue' with 'da-vid cone' during his 2 drives
I couldn't help but laugh out loud on those passes he threw. I'm glad he got some reps, but there certainly is a reason he is behind a walk-on nicknamed "death"
I was sitting in Section 25, row 2 next to the band and the people in my immediate vicinity were the ones who started the chant. After Cone came in, we also started a Jack Kennedy chant. I was surprised at how many people actually knew he existed.
I also let everyone around me know that Cone was an amazing rapper and they should check out his videos haha.
Bust out the Febreeze.
I really hope that someone compiles a video of all of Cone's game action after the end of the season and uploads it to YouTube.
Musical accompaniment by the Notorious C.O.N.E. of course.
