College Gameday in Ann Arbor
November 21st, 2021 at 5:06 PM ^
Of course. Herbie should be detained at the Michigan-Ohio state line....
November 21st, 2021 at 5:34 PM ^
It will have to be the Michigan-Indiana Line, because they won't let him in Ohio either.
November 21st, 2021 at 5:50 PM ^
Naw man. Herbie is a good dude. He is not like 90% of that fan base. He moved to Nashville because he couldn't stand the cooler poopers. He is welcomed in our state.
November 21st, 2021 at 6:13 PM ^
I'd be cool too if my team dominated the rivalry and is on an epic 2 decade run...
November 21st, 2021 at 6:52 PM ^
Let’s be honest folks …… Michigan is overdue.
If you’re going to pick a year to do it - this is it.
November 21st, 2021 at 8:26 PM ^
We say that every year.
November 21st, 2021 at 7:56 PM ^
He reverted back to basically bing an OSU recruiting too during the OSU-MSU game call. Was just beyond belief...
November 21st, 2021 at 8:34 PM ^
Think that was more the scoreline than his bias..
November 21st, 2021 at 11:11 PM ^
no he was a total OSU slappie this past saturday. Infact Fowler asked him an MSU question and started sucking OSU d**K without even answering the said MSU query. Complete homer.
November 21st, 2021 at 5:07 PM ^
Zero surprise. Wish I could be optimistic about this. Sigh.
November 21st, 2021 at 5:10 PM ^
Life is better lived in optimism. Michigan has exceeded my expectations win or lose this game. Go Blue. Beat OSU.
November 21st, 2021 at 5:15 PM ^
Mine as well. But I grew up with this rivalry being literally the best in sports anywhere; ESPN confirmed this at the end of the century.
This is a reminder of how great it can be... and how it will not be great until both rivals are winning on occasion. And our team is the one that has dropped the ball.
Winning would obviously cure a host of ills... but I don't expect that to happen this week. And I won't make my appreciation for this team dependent upon a result that has a low probability of occurring. They've done well, period.
November 21st, 2021 at 6:49 PM ^
Michigan's offense is better than Oregon's, PSU's, or Nebraska's
Michigan's defense is better than Oregon's, and nearly as good as PSU's or Nebraska's.
There is reason to be optimistic.
November 21st, 2021 at 7:17 PM ^
Completely agree love this team and it’s been a great year and I’ve been enjoying it every week. But I too just don’t see us beating OSU on Saturday. They are just too good. It won’t keep me from watching and cheering my ass off but watching both teams this season my eyes tell me it’s not in the cards
November 21st, 2021 at 5:57 PM ^
Exactly! No negative vibes this week-GO BLUE & BEAT OSU!!
November 21st, 2021 at 5:09 PM ^
Start making your signs!!!!!!
November 21st, 2021 at 5:38 PM ^
Gotta do with Ryan Day picking his boogers.
November 21st, 2021 at 5:09 PM ^
We earned this.
November 21st, 2021 at 5:10 PM ^
Will show out better than the MSU crowd did, I'm sure...
Just need to win the game. Win. The. Game.
WIN!!!!
November 21st, 2021 at 5:11 PM ^
Ugh....I have to work 7a-7p on Saturday. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing.
November 21st, 2021 at 5:19 PM ^
My wife is doing a holiday market on Saturday from 11-5. I usually go with her and help out, she's been warned though that I won't be able to make this one.
November 21st, 2021 at 5:27 PM ^
Yeah, before my wife and I got married, she knew that I would not be doing anything on fall Saturdays other than watching Michigan football. Eleven years in, she has honored that (other than the occasional wedding or such an event that is out of our control).
November 21st, 2021 at 6:23 PM ^
Record it and then text somebody you trust around 5pm and ask "is it worth watching?". Instruct them ahead of time not to elaborate with any details but just reply with a simple yes or no. That should protect you from watching a blowout on tape delay at least.
November 22nd, 2021 at 3:46 PM ^
That would make a loss so much harder to watch
November 21st, 2021 at 7:01 PM ^
I've listened to games from many locations over the years including one win I listened to on the top of my father in law's roof. They're all good, although I will admit the wins are much better than the others.
November 21st, 2021 at 5:19 PM ^
So who’s the guest picker?
I doubt Fox is going to let Woodson mosey on over from their set to make the picks. Would be really cool to see Brady out there, I think he’d actually be a fun guest picker, and he has a game in Indy the next day so he wouldn’t have to go too far afterwards, but my guess is he won’t be the guy.
November 21st, 2021 at 5:24 PM ^
Guest picker will be the Fab 5. Book it.
November 21st, 2021 at 8:33 PM ^
Have Juwan do it.
November 21st, 2021 at 5:25 PM ^
It will be random guy not from MI.
November 21st, 2021 at 5:25 PM ^
Probably someone that has absolutely no connection to either university.
November 21st, 2021 at 5:33 PM ^
I'm already mad at ESPN for their shitty ass shitty picker picks.
November 21st, 2021 at 5:51 PM ^
I love it when Reece Davis says, " We gotta hurry up!" with the picks, only for the jerks from 21 Pilots to go into their dissertation on how FSU will beat Boston College....
November 21st, 2021 at 6:00 PM ^
Yeah, I think the last two times Michigan hosted gameday, the guest pickers were Steve Spurrier and the Chainsmokers. Such a waste.
November 21st, 2021 at 6:02 PM ^
MADONNA
November 21st, 2021 at 6:27 PM ^
ESPN gets David Gilmour and Roger Waters back together
November 21st, 2021 at 6:32 PM ^
They are not going to find a better picker than Ryan Day. It might be a better game day sign...
November 21st, 2021 at 7:30 PM ^
Whatever celebrity is out promoting their show that week controlled by Disney
November 21st, 2021 at 8:36 PM ^
They should never do that whore move.
Pick somebody out of the crowd if you can't find someone famous enough. That's not a problem for Michigan anyway.
November 21st, 2021 at 5:22 PM ^
I am sure this gives Herbie and Pete Finebaum a big stiffy.
November 21st, 2021 at 6:05 PM ^
NTTAWWT
November 21st, 2021 at 9:32 PM ^
Dammit! Can’t unsee that.
November 21st, 2021 at 5:24 PM ^
As expected.
November 21st, 2021 at 5:25 PM ^
When do we find out who the ref crew is?
Anyone watch MSU-OSU and see them review that MSU "catch" which the announcers and everyone else thought would be ruled a fumble but they somehow decided it was an incompletion? Classic John O'Neill! Not that it mattered...
November 21st, 2021 at 5:32 PM ^
Hope the staff tracks officiating crews and how they call games, ie penalties called.. know what’s coming. NFL teams do this to an insane level. Track crews and penalties they call, how they call them..
November 21st, 2021 at 6:34 PM ^
I guarantee you Urban Meyer did this and had it down to a science.
Probably got it from Belichick (and Holtz as well).
November 21st, 2021 at 6:18 PM ^
I saw that. And I was like, "WTF?"
November 21st, 2021 at 9:06 PM ^
We saw it too. Amazing call. Guy catches ball, turns upfield, ball comes out while being tackled.
They turn over the call on the field. WTF? Do they not know the meaning of conclusive evidence?
November 21st, 2021 at 7:11 PM ^
O’Neill and crew may be the worst of the worst, but B1G has a real officiating problem from top to bottom. As a conference they are routinely bad. I don’t see bias towards any particular school, that’s not it. The problem is they are routinely bad, and it’s embarrassing to see it week after week. Both schools have to be prepared to overcome a horrible call(s) that go against them. IMO, not having full time referees, for all P5 conferences, is inexcusable. The money is available to fund it, they need to stop with excuses that the current model works.
