Well hopefully they get Biegel back soon. Really tough break for them.

Luckily their schedule was front-loaded so they can weather this storm much more easily now. But I'm not sure we or OSU will be facing Nebraska.

Nebraska has been playing with fire the past couple of weeks against some lame duck opponents, and I think they're about to get incinerated by both Wisconsin and OSU.

They beat Northwestern by 11 and Indiana by 5. Other than that, there's not much to look at on their schedule. A 3 point win against Oregon at home doesn't say much. The Ducks are 2-5. Oregon, Notre Dame, and MSU, who would've thought at the beginning of the season those teams would all be 2-5.

Would be a nice way for Tommy Armstrong to go out--playing in the conference championship. He spent all those years in the BIG 12 and persevered behind Tommie Frazier, then Scott Frost, Eric Crouch...and then had to watch as Taylor Martinez started Nebraska's B1G tenure. But it's his time to shine now. Sure, he'll get pummeled, but he'll have a great story to tell his grandkids, which coincidentally are due any day now.

Fine without Cichy. Yes he's great, but so is Watt, and they were without him for UM and went 4 quarters. Ask UW fans (and I have) and most will probably tell you that Watt is their best PLAYER period, not Cichy.

often gives a cursory  "too bad for the kid... hope he's back soon" response to news of opposing teams' injuries.  While I'm all in favor of civility, in this case I think it's really a blow to Wiscy and th  B1G to lose this kid.  Great player and fun to watch.  Get well soon young man.

The most shocking statistic in college football is that Wisconsin has not won in Evanston since the 1990s.

Evanston is literally not even a true road game. It's insane.

Badgers will beat the Huskers, and the Huskers will lose to OSU, however Badgers will fall again to Northwestern. That will not be enough to save the Wildcats though, as Nebraska already beat them/has a head to head tiebreaker.

I kinda feel for UW here, they've earned a grudging respect from me for the way they're playing this year.  But even without Cichy - which is a huge loss - I think they'll get back to the B1G Championship game.  I don't see Nebraska beating OSU or UW.  That UW defense is too good, it rivals our own defense, fer crissakes!

Very interested to watch the Neb/Wisky game.

It's probably the only B1G game all season that matters and I truly don't care who the winner is. I just want to see them in what kind of amounts to an elimination game.

Football is a tough, brutal sport.  I can't think of any other sport where a team is almost guaranteed to lose multiple starters for the year, every single season.

We've lost Clark and Newsome ourselves.  It's almost routine.

Having depth and being able to develop your 2s and 3s so that they can take over is vital to the success of a college football team.  Because it's going to happen.
