Cameron McGrone: Is this the year he lights it up?
Thoughts? to 247, he was the #24 overall player and the top OLB in the nation. Really good looking player on film, and someone who should make a huge impact by the end of his Michigan career.
Any one of the insiders(UMBIG13?) know whether he is going to make big contributions this year? If he can become a dominant player at LB, it could be the difference between a good season and a great one.

Hmm, a tall order. Devin is among the very elite of Michigan LBs. Let's let Cam get a few snaps in first before we proffer that kind of prediction maybe? Great skill set, but I'm cautious to throw around those kinds of superlatives. Just one hombre's opinion though.

There was no prediction there at all. He can be as good as Devin Bush, which as a guy who was a 5* coming out of HS and is absolutely 100% true. Nobody knows if he will, but his potential is actually probably higher than Bush.

His bio on MGoBlue says he played in just one game in 2018 and that was on special teams... does that mean he qualified for a redshirt? I'd hate to lose an entire season of eligibility for one game on ST.

I thought his high school tape was fantastic. It seemed he quickly decided which gap to shoot on running plays, then went through them FAST! I thought he'd fit in great with Don Brown's TFL philosophy. I hope he's getting the scheme study side of things down cold.
