Brian Kelly is still an ass

Interesting review of some of Brian Kelly's more classy comments.

Also, to hell with Notre Dame.

Edit: I have heard rumors from some family/friends inside of CMU that Kelly had done these kind of things while there, but was overlooked since the team did so well while he was there.  They did not (or could not) give any specifics, but if anyone has any info about it please share.

Epilogue: EDSBS put out a good feature also http://www.everydayshouldbesaturday.com/2016/10/14/13268754/the-picture…

Scuba divers have inflatable vests and weight belts that allow them to control their bouyancy so they can remain at certain depths.

He probably had his vest inflated and maybe went down without a weight belt and flipped upside down under the ice. The inflated vest would then push him towards the surface, allowing it to seem like he was walking on the ice.

Then he'd fill the buckets with air using his breathing aparatus to give the illusion of dumping air into the upside down wheelbarrow.

Kelly truly is an ass.

I'm sure those quotes only scratch the surface of how he blames other people and doesn't take responsibility in his mind.

He's lucky the strength and conditioning coach decided to be a bigger man and not to punch him on the spot.

Lots of stuff here, but thing I feel the worst about was the Notre Dame student videotaping on the ladder in 25+ mph winds that fell and died a few years ago. Seems like someone should have been like, dude come down, we don't need videotape of this practice. The wobbly ladders were known and the kid tweeted that he was going to die that day in jest because of the winds. Just par for course of ineptitude but involved a human life. Please correct if I have mistaken any details, but was my general impression. I still feel bad about that event.

I remember reading about that.  Other schools were cancelling outdoor practices because of the weather, and he had a kid videotaping up in a tower.  And of course, didn't take any responsibility.  Not sure if he turned purple and called the kid a "f*#@ing moron" after he hit ground, but wouldn't be surprising.

Bacon was talking about this on WTKA last week.  Asshole Kelly wanted to "cone off the area" and continue with his practice.  Someone with some common sense and some pull came over to him and told him that they would not be continuing on with practice.  He is a Class A dickhead.

I can't wait for the day when one of his players knocks him the fuck out.  It will happen one of these days.
