Scott van Pelt just said on the preshow that "over the past three years Notre Dame has had trouble stopping Denard Wilson"

BYU really should just line their gloves with epoxy. It's the only way at this point. They'll never turn it over if they can't let go in the first place.

EDIT: OK, so you get a freebie at the 1 and can't convert the turnover into points. It's an indictment of how your offense has gone from "Wow!" to "Oh, wow...well, I hope that clears up soon..."

This blue field is hurting my eyes.  I can't even see the Boise State players.  Is this not an unfair advantage?

We're 48 minutes into this game and BYU has 22 yards passing and 77 yards rushing. I am hoping that the medical staff is hooking the offense to the AED right now so they can at least make sure it is well enough  to be moved to a place where people can give it the proper care.

a bit more optimistic after watching a few weekends of football.   MSU plays a hardnose style of play, but can be beaten by a team that stands up to them physically and shuts their running game down.  Denard should be good enough for a gamebreaking play to push us over the top.  They were outplayed quite a bit at home against BSU and ND thumped them at home as well.

ND is playing with an unproven QB that is weak in passing (been there ...).  If we shut down the run and force him to throw we should be in good shape.  He will target his TE a lot in this game.  We know all of our weaknesses, but we still have enough strengths to win these two games.

MSU was very over rated and got to much credit for beating a really bad and over rated BSU team.  ND than gets heaps of love for beating what is a not very good MSU team.  I think the bottom line is that we won't know much about ND or Michigan until after Saturday night.  But my bet is on Michigan.  Unless our WRs suddenly forget how to play in the rain, I think it will be a good night for the maize and blue.

Yeah, the BYU defense held Boise to less yards per play than MSU and no offensive points...I think Boise just isn't that good this year.  The funny part is that there's probably 1, maybe 2 teams that can actually beat them the rest of the year though.  That offense is putrid.
