Thats a modern pleat, looks good. I'd wear those to the office.

Pleats looked good on Frank Sinatra & Gene Kelly like 60some years ago. We don't need no "Modern" pleat - we just need them to fade away now...

It's not worth it. Take off that Michigan M and the price drops about $150.00.
January 8th, 2015 at 1:31 PM ^
Add an Arcteryx label and it jumps to $500.
$250 isn't that much higher than similar down "puffy" jackets, assuming it has a DWR shell. I wouldn't pay that for Adidas, as I'm very skeptical of their quality control, but I'd have no problem paying that for Mountain Hardware, Marmot, etc...

if Moncler

$50.00 more and you could get into a base Spyder jacket, with a nice shell.
January 8th, 2015 at 1:33 PM ^
Price drop is more like 5¢ without the Michigan M.

this time next year!

That's Adidas' Terrex Korum jacket, and it's $250 for their plain version. This one with the Block M is the same price. Not bad...

And lovingly stitched together by the hands of an 11 year old Bangladeshi girl.
Synthetic material and goose down filling. What about that jacket justifies a $250 price tag?
/cheap

Goose down is the best kind of down, though this one is only 700 fill power, which is a bit weak. I'd rather see 800-850 for that price.

Vs penal colony slave labor in China for the Nike?!
That's why the "adults" on this blog debating which apparel company to go with to appeal to teenagers actually make me throw up in my mouth a little!

If it were North Face it would have sold like hot cakes 10 years ago. And come with a free pair of black leggings

Don't forget the tan UGG boots!

Well I always wondered if WD had an alter-ego screen name. Not sure how he came up with "chrs5mr" though.

Already have my Michigan winter jacket. No need for another. Especially not a $250 one that isn't even Maize and Blue.
I got this one for $100 and it's a sideline jacket.
Taken early this morning before work:
The thing covering my face I got here. However, I got it for free at Michigan-Purdue 2011. http://www.mden.com/shopping/product.cgi?5878+SEARCH

Ya think Jim & Jim are about to square off over who gets the cool new black jacket and who gets the old school M track jacket?!

If you're gonna spend $250 on a poofy jacket, get a Patagonia or Arc'teryx. Bombproof.

$250? I'd fear for that jacket's life in a decent thunderstorm. Ridiculous price.
