According to message boards on Rivals, there was a big announcement from RR. Anyone know what it is? Thanks.

Even if he does not come to MI, I like the fact that the family seems to be loyal to Michigan and will do what it takes to help us get back on top. Even if he doesn't end up at MI, it is nice to know that we were a part of the rumor mill. That means MI didn't lose any prominance like the so-called experts said we would due to our lackluster season last year. I am proud to be a wolverine and I cannot wait to see you guys next weekend at the spring game! I will be in my "In Rod we Trust" shirt. SEE YOU THERE!!

If middle Forcier does transfer, it will continue a fine Michigan tradition of having at least three brothers play for the school, see the fabulous Wistert brothers. Now if only we can get Jason another year of eligibility just for shits and giggles.

the elder Forciers were somewhat middling prospects, whereas Tate was a very highly regarded recruit. A friend of mine who coaches on the college level was not a big fan of Jason (as far as ability), but saw Tate last summer and said, "Well, he's definitely a lot better than his brother." In short, Tate's the best of the three.

That's not entirely true, at least depending which source you take as gospel. Scout had Jason rated as the #8 QB in the country (Tate at #15 on Scout) was ranked somewhere what would be the equivalent of the top 100 or so on that site, while he was rated as a mid-three star prospect by Rivals (while we're at it, let's not forget that he led Mater Dei to the state championship his junior year before he transferred to a different school his senior year -- granted, we are talking about Mater Dei, but it's still no small feat). In 2007, Chris was rated very similarly to where Tate was rated this past year, at least on Rivals -- on Scout, he was the #19 QB, which is obviously below where Tate was ranked this year. Either way, most people seem to think Tate is the best prospect of all of Forciers, but I'll believe it once we see it on the field.

I doubt he'll come here - it doesn't really make sense. He is transferring ostensibly so he can get playing time at QB. Not gonna happen b/c a) he's probably not as good as his brother and b) even if he were I doubt he'd like to take his spot. I guess he could play WR, but by the time he would be able to play you'd have stokes, stonum, hemingway, jeremy jackson, ricardo miller to contend with and those are just outside receiver types. That being said, it would be cool if he did transfer to UM.

Should we give up a scholarship for a guy who is gonna be like 3rd string QB or use it for a position of need like RB, LB, DT, or DE? I think with two decent options this year and with Devin and most likely someone else next year we should be ok at QB. I'd like to see us sure up a defense because once BG is gone at end then who is our next real threat? A sophomore DT? With getting 4 WRs thus far and only having 22 (I think) scholarships left, a transfer QB who couldn't start at UCLA isn't going to help us all that much. Maybe I'm missing an angle or am just being too critical, so I guess I'll leave it to discussion.

"First off, The Rumor around the clinic today -- Jason Forcier might be coming to Michigan as a Graduate Assistant." From the CoachBT/EROC site.
