And by the way...Denard thing is funny, but it's not a joke.

In 2010, Denard played one fewer game than Cade did this year and threw for SIX less yards and threw 3 more TDs.

In 2010, Denard played one fewer game than Hassan did this year and rushed for 375 MORE yards with 14 less carries.

That is absolutely insane.

Say word!  Denard is criminally undervalued. He was also our last all american rb in 15 years .... as a qb. Lol

Denard finished his career as arguably the best/ most productive rb in UM history AND as a top 5 um qb of all time.

When you consider that this was done mostly off sophomore season and up to the Minnesota game of Jr season, it seems even more ridiculous. Dude was an absolute machine.

What's criminal is he and Devin Gardner wasn't used together more often. Both guys on the field at the same time would have created match-up nightmares for opponents. Not a lot of teams could have kept both threats contained. Flee-flickers, jet sweeps, statue of liberty plays. It would have been fun to watch.

Denard/Toussaint

Both of these dudes rushed for 1000+ in the same season.

Fitz does not get enough love. He was a quality back and proved it by staying in the NFL for half a decade. He did work if he could get some blocks.

I can’t believe this was so far down the thread.

In 1992 Wheatley was the Big Ten rushing and scoring champion in an offense where Gorbachev (ha,I want to correct this, but this is the best auto-correct I have seen in a while.  Gorby was awesome) was also a statistical Big Ten champion.
