it's highly improbable, but like you all said, dude, a paper is actually printing this? And citing an actual home visit? Umm.... just weird.

I just did some research too... I'm not saying this adds any validity to the paper, but it is a pretty widely circulated newspaper in Oklahoma... Then again, it is Oklahoma.

Okay. I'm trying to be rational here. I know one of the main pillars of following recruiting is to stay level headed and remember that these are high school kids... But for fuck sake....TWO DAYS AGO, this was in an article on Rivals: "'People were saying I wasn't coming, but I'm coming,' Beaver remarked. 'I chose Michigan because they really need a quarterback who can run that system and they need leaders out there.'" .....

do we keep recruiting dual threat QB's in this class or wait and diligently recruit the top 2010 QB's like gardner, bolden, and christian green? i hope rich rod figures it out and makes the right choice....i say stick with threet, sheridan and forcier for the year and pursue the 2010 qb's like crazy.... what are your thoughts?

Ha, Powerpoint. Seriously Tulsa? I wasn't drinking the Beaver Kool-Aid, and I don't really think he would have been the full time starter here, but we definitely could use him to solidify our depth.

I don't get why the kid kept reaffirming his commitment as recently as a couple of days ago if he was an in home from Tulsa (come on? Tulsa?) from changing... Seems pretty strange, but oh well.

But we will be fine. Proven offensive system, revamped defense with a leader in B. Graham... Forcier will lead us to the promised land of BCS glory.

Trying not to freak out, trying not to freak out... fuck it I am freaking out! Like did someone seriously go and steal our snake oil only to make a better version of it? Like this kid seriously fucked us with his fucking reassurances.....DEEP BREATH....Tyrik Rollison, Raymond Cotton, and Tajh Boyd are the uncommitted 4 stars. Chances anyone? Or do we go after guys like Dolapo Macarthy and Darren Jones at this point?

"Wow, I never thought I'd live to see the day a guy decommits from Michigan to coma to TU. Pretty freakin' cool." Lets get this thing turned around fast.....

Maybe this is karma for for the majority, me included, assuming that Tate was going to come in and steal the show without giving the Beav much consideration. Good one, karma! We're even now.

Just maybe he saw a better chance to start at Tulsa and wants to take the easy route to starting over battling it out with Tate everyday and possibly losing resulting in him being a backup the entire time he was here. I mean im just saying....

It might be rational, but Beaver helped recruit Tate to Michigan. Tate even said he admired Beaver for helping with his recruitment. It's possible that all the Tate-hype threatened him in the end, but that line of logic doesn't sit well with me. Beaver never seemed like the wishy-washy unsure-of-himself recruit like the others. He always appeared to be the confident one who wasn't afraid of competition. My guess is that distance was the main factor and the McGuffie situation made this factor more salient.
