BBall win posbang for having to stress that win out

Well that was stressful and unnecessary but I'll take it and we all deserve points for that.

I missed most of the game and turned it on with Michigan up by two;  54-52 or something.  The first thing I see is two missed Michigan free throws followed by a Northwestern bucket.  I paced around the kitchen and living room until we had a comfortable margin - with 30 seconds left.

KenPom was right!  Bang him!

Key words "if guys step up." If Duncan gets his shot back and Donnal starts playing consistently good and agressive this team is incredibly dangerous. Not to mention that it seems every other guy is extremely inconsistent as well minus MAAR.

Gonna be two tough games to finish. If we can win one more, we should be a good bet for the tournament. Something in the range of 9-12 seed.

and beat a tourney bound team in the BTT I think we may play ourselves into the 7-8 range.  I don't want anything that has us going against a #1 or #2 seed the opening weekend, so I'm hoping for either a 6 or 11 seed.

Also, both Clark Kellogg and Bob Valvano were on 105.1 Detroit today, and both guys said this team should be in if the season ended today.  I like the good vibes.

I had the worst feeling this would be the night where it all came to a horrible end.

We did manage to find something late despite our struggles with the short rest scenario.

Pretty gutty.

We live to fight another day. Hope they can take advantage of it. LET'S FUCKING DO SOMETHING WITH THIS!

Rebuilding was last year.  This year was supposed to be 20+ wins honestly.  Were only a couple wins off where we should be.  Myself and others are extremely dissapointed with the lack of competitveness in our losses and against our rivals.  Not so much the 9 losses.

not that I felt we were playing well, but we had played Xavier, who just beat the #1 team in the country tonight, SMU, who has been essentially an all year long top 25, Connecticut WITH Brimah, and we were actually 11-3 (not 7-4), with a win over Texas with Ridley.

But hey, besides that, your post was spot on.

Well 6 of 14 is pretty close to .500 and we have a week for Wisconsin and Ohio State to possibly get there. We were losing to Northwestern for 3/4th of the game at home and have tons of blowout losses this year along with bad games to Minny and Rutgers. Unless we have an epiphany in these next two weeks, we're not going anywhere in the tournament. Just taking an objective view of our team.

You're not objective at all. You're blindly negative. You can't say one good thing about this team. Every other 20 win team in the B1G is in the top 25. We're only 2.5 games behind the potential big champion. Seriously dude, just lighten up a little. Enjoy the victory or go do something else.

Lol. "Objective." Picking out our worst games only is definitely being "objective." Leave out Purdue, Maryland, and Texas and the fact that we have 20 wins and are a half game back of MSU in the B10 and you're totally being "objective." Also, our first Purdue game was a 5 point game with 4 minutes to go and we almost beat Maryland in Maryland....I can't believe your "objective" look at our team missed that
