Michigan's two basketball teams beat Northwestern's teams by a combined score of 169-129. Almost identical scores of 85-66 for the men and 84-63 for the women. Both are also undefeated.

So many weapons - all unselfish players, one goal: WIN!

Kicking ass and taking names.

How sweet a conference win was that !  Dominant win over a good Northwestern team.  Michigan has great depth and chemistry.  Fun to watch. 

They were all out of bubble gum.  Both teams. 

              Yay!

That was the best game I've seen Michigan basketball played all season thus far. Total domination on both side of the ball. Everyone contributed to the win which is great to see.

Eli Brooks has come a long way since his Freshman year.

He is playing good D, he  moves the ball around nicely on O, and he is dialed in on open threes. 

Everything wrong with the football program is right with the basketball program. Elite recruiting, guys having fun, not talking shit/modest expectations going in to the season, beating the game's elites (Gonzaga, UNC, MSU), player development, a coherent game plan that is executed well. I'll exhaust myself going through all the finer points, but I just wanna say how grateful I am for Beilein and Howard and how much of a privilege it has been to follow the team the last decade and how it'll continue to be an enjoyable experience for a long while to come. Then, now, and forever, Go Blue

Fellas,  our team should be ranked in the top ten right now... Being at 16 is silly...  I'd put them at 8, at worst...

Yay for all the disadvantages poor Michigan has not applying to basketball!

Oh, man.  That was fun.  Did not expect the game to unfold like that.  Northwestern basketball has had a tendency to be a pain in the ass.  I thought this would be stressful with the game being decided in the final minute.

This team is improving by the game. Tonight it was Chaundee Brown and Franz Wagner stepping up. Fun team to follow ! 

Only regret is that CJ Baird failed to add to his mop-up legend status.
