Love our great players over the past 7 years. But to me, the real heart of the program are guys like Zach Novak, David Merritt and Jordan Morgan. Players that wanted to don the Maize n Blue, and helped bring us from obscurity to relevance.

All that crap reminded me of a couple of years ago, when I was splitting beers with a good friend, and we were talking about the problems with the internet. We agreed that in addition to a "Delete" function, there should be a "Your Computer is Being Removed because You're Too Big an Asshole to Know How to Use It Properly" button.
Still haven't figured out how to get all those words to fit on a computer key, though.

Mostly 2 usernames. Probably a drunk Sparty who realized he could log on separately from his phone and his computer. He then proceeded to show what a tremendous asshole he is from 2 platforms.

Huge get for Juwan. Also wondering if maybe this is the result of some other news that Bajema has heard about that hasn't been made public yet? Would seem odd for a kid to retain his commitment without meeting the new coach or knowing who the assistants are. Or maybe Juwan is just that iconic and respected and this bodes well for our recruiting outlook
I have no idea if Howard has spoken with the kid, but from all accounts, he's a lifelong fan who would've still ended up with the school unless it hired a coach who no longer wanted him.
You do realize he committed like months before Juwan was named coach.
I get we are all are fans of the fab five, and want juwan to succeed, but let’s slow the role of slob nobbing Howard before he’s done shit. He did NOT secure bajama’s commitment, and that’s ok. Let’s see how it plays out.
This is good. At least he (Howard) can salvage something out of the 2019 class. I think its going to be tough to get Wilson back.
The transfer from Oakland is still available I think but sounds like he may be trending away. A grad transfer would probably help more in 2019 than a freshman.
Howard will have to kill in the 2020 class to really get this thing rolling.

Cole has Michigan roots. His father grew up on the west side, and Cole’s mother and father both attended college in MI. His grandfather officiated at my wedding. Good, solid people. Michigan was always Cole’s dream school. I never doubted he’d stay with us.

According to 247, Beileins best class was 2012 at 8, his next best was at 11. Most of the time his classes were much higher than that nationally. Howard should be able to get that ramped up pretty easily I would think. Most kids in the top 25 are going to come with baggage and he will have to steer away from them here, it's the kids from 26-100 that Howard really needs to reel in. Occasionally he can pull in some of those top 25 kids when they aren't on the take.
Side note, don't think we will ever recruit a Fab5 top class again...1,3,6,9,84 is insane.
