B1G apologizes for roughing the kicker call

Per Brandstatter on the Inside Michigan Football radio show going on right now, the B1G apparently apologized for the awful roughing the punter call that nobody on Earth agreed with.

They should apologize for having any of those refs calling a major college game.

I hate these after the fact apologies that mean NOTHING....fortunately that call didnt affect the final result BUT what if it had? What good does a apology do?

the officials were from the B1G. Lets say they called those two PI's, it might seem like to some OSU fans like they were just B1G officials trying to make sure the B1G won. Then you get the Pac 12 upset with the B1G and then we have could possibly have a real problem. Teams from the Pac 12 could find themselves avoiding playing in the B1G and the B1G feeling the same way as the Pac 12  and avoid playing Pac 12 teams.  Did that help?
