RR's team is playing well tonight. It was time to go in 2010 at Michigan but he's doing nice things at Arizona. Why is it that every coach and cordinator can't do anything at Michigan but is awesome at other colleges. Also Bill Martin was a colossal dufus who didn't pay assistants anything while other colleges were paying top dollar.

We had lost to the last couple of teams by about 50 points. What he's doing 4 years later has no relevance on Michigan at the time since we were so awful. Everyone had the moment where we knew it was over when we were playing Mississippi State similar to the feeling at the Utah game for Hoke. What we needed to do was fire RR and hire someone like Harbaugh who turned Stanford around and could revive the defense and kept the offense going.

Agreed. I think the problem at Michigan is the administration. They fucked it up with RR and now DB sits in every meeting for Hoke. At the time we were bad. Our defense was literally the worst in the country. We needed a change. The offense scored 14 points against Mississippi State and 7 points against the Buckeyes.

I wonder what the scoreboard would look like without all the ref fuckery.....

not to say arizona didn't leave 7 points off the board with that stupid fumble, but two of the worst potentially game changing calls i've seen all season in favor of oregon.

A big difference between Hoke and Rich Rod is that when Rich says his teams will succeed if they execute, I actually believe him. Not trying to pile on Hoke, but that statement has been rendered meaningless under Hoke.

From ESPN: Byrne [Arizona's AD] discussed the job with former Florida coach Urban Meyer, who told him, "If you hire Rich Rodriguez, you're getting one of the five greatest minds in college football. That would be an incredible hire for the University of Arizona."

I don't think any coach has, nor ever will, ever accuse Hoke of being that.

Oregon has @UCLA next week, could be 2 losses very easily... host Stanford later this year.

Oregon lines are not good. OL I understand since they lost a 1st round LT and then a NFL draft pick RT but the DL is weak.

Its a good thing that spread thing isn't allowed at Michigan. I mean who on earth would want an offense like Arizona? #Hokesoffenseforever
