RR's team is playing well tonight. It was time to go in 2010 at Michigan but he's doing nice things at Arizona. Why is it that every coach and cordinator can't do anything at Michigan but is awesome at other colleges. Also Bill Martin was a colossal dufus who didn't pay assistants anything while other colleges were paying top dollar.

Michigan's program just implodes on itself over and over and over. Too many indians and incompetent chief

No it wasn't. He deserved a 4th year. And money for a good DC.

We had lost to the last couple of teams by about 50 points. What he's doing 4 years later has no relevance on Michigan at the time since we were so awful. Everyone had the moment where we knew it was over when we were playing Mississippi State similar to the feeling at the Utah game for Hoke. What we needed to do was fire RR and hire someone like Harbaugh who turned Stanford around and could revive the defense and kept the offense going.
October 3rd, 2014 at 1:13 AM ^
What we needed to do was not submarine Rich Rod from day one by acting like a bunch of old hens, squawking over inanities, clinging to our tradition so tightly that we strangled our already sickly football program.

Agreed. I think the problem at Michigan is the administration. They fucked it up with RR and now DB sits in every meeting for Hoke. At the time we were bad. Our defense was literally the worst in the country. We needed a change. The offense scored 14 points against Mississippi State and 7 points against the Buckeyes.

for seeing things clearly.

This Arizona program is really going places...

God, the tackling discipline of AZ has been laudable, good job, y'all
October 3rd, 2014 at 12:52 AM ^
Arizona controlling LOS on both sides of the ball. Irony at its best.
Doing this with a frigging true freshman QB to boot. Damnit.
October 3rd, 2014 at 12:52 AM ^
Arizona would be the best team in the Big Ten and I'm not sure it would be close.
October 3rd, 2014 at 2:36 AM ^
Considering Oregon wooped on MSU and just got beat by AU, I'd say you're right.
October 3rd, 2014 at 12:52 AM ^
I wonder what the scoreboard would look like without all the ref fuckery.....
not to say arizona didn't leave 7 points off the board with that stupid fumble, but two of the worst potentially game changing calls i've seen all season in favor of oregon.

A big difference between Hoke and Rich Rod is that when Rich says his teams will succeed if they execute, I actually believe him. Not trying to pile on Hoke, but that statement has been rendered meaningless under Hoke.
October 3rd, 2014 at 2:39 AM ^
From ESPN: Byrne [Arizona's AD] discussed the job with former Florida coach Urban Meyer, who told him, "If you hire Rich Rodriguez, you're getting one of the five greatest minds in college football. That would be an incredible hire for the University of Arizona."
I don't think any coach has, nor ever will, ever accuse Hoke of being that.
October 3rd, 2014 at 12:54 AM ^
this looks like manball...just keep running at UO and getting 5-7 yds a carry.

I think Jesse Plamer just said:
"Tote the rock." I wish he would have finished it off with a "brah."

RichRod would be #1 on everyone's CC wants list if we hadn't fucking fired him!
October 3rd, 2014 at 12:54 AM ^
Every play there is at least some hole in there to run through
October 3rd, 2014 at 12:54 AM ^
I'm seriously questioning our use of ineffective tight ends after watching this game.
October 3rd, 2014 at 12:55 AM ^
I love that QB Oh No play.
C'mon, Devin could run that.
October 3rd, 2014 at 12:55 AM ^
Oregon has @UCLA next week, could be 2 losses very easily... host Stanford later this year.
Oregon lines are not good. OL I understand since they lost a 1st round LT and then a NFL draft pick RT but the DL is weak.
October 3rd, 2014 at 12:58 AM ^
Yah Oregon is not as good as their ranking. Probably will end up around 15 when everything is all said and done. They are good, but they are not a top5 team.

CATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MANBALL!
October 3rd, 2014 at 12:55 AM ^
Even if they end up losing, Arizona being competitive with Oregon is something Team 135 would not be able to do.
October 3rd, 2014 at 12:57 AM ^
The "Team xxx" shit is getting old to hear. Just be Michigan and be good damn it.
October 3rd, 2014 at 1:23 AM ^
Tell it to the guy who started the "tradition."
October 3rd, 2014 at 12:55 AM ^
this is so exciting to watch. wow AZ looks really good on offense.
October 3rd, 2014 at 12:56 AM ^
Hell yeah! TD! Proper play call, AND execution
October 3rd, 2014 at 12:56 AM ^
This Richard Alan Rodriguez character seems like an outstanding young coach.
October 3rd, 2014 at 12:58 AM ^
He is getting the last laugh. Probably has a photo of DB that he pisses on every night...lol

If I had a dime everytime an announcer said fly on a windshield about a Michigan player, I'd have a couple of nickels, maybe.

This should be 31-10 if not for the fumble by AZ and the crap taunting foul to extend Oregons lasst drive.
October 3rd, 2014 at 12:58 AM ^
Its a good thing that spread thing isn't allowed at Michigan. I mean who on earth would want an offense like Arizona? #Hokesoffenseforever
October 3rd, 2014 at 2:43 AM ^
Yeah, and, gee, I don't know how the get freshman to play???? Our coaches say freshman can't play because they're too young.
