Any Requests for Interviews or Information

Submitted by TomVH on
Does anyone have any requests for any upcoming interviews? Or information about any recruits. The only exceptions for interview requests are - Willie Haulstead, Jelani Jenkins, and Taylor Lewan, for reasons I will discuss at a later time.

I would love an interview with Beaver or Forcier.  It's exciting that one of them will likely be the face of the program in a few years, so it'd be interesting ot get to know them as a fan

Justin Turner.  It's been totally quiet on him and I think he has a chance to contribute right off the bat.

psycho-analyzed this sentence so many time it's sick:

"The only exceptions for interview requests are - Willie Haulstead, Jelani Jenkins, and Taylor Lewan, for reasons I will discuss at a later time."

Interview Odoms PLEASE.  I'd love to know his perspective on the season and the next and the next.  Whether he's a guy who Jackson and Miller are contacting.  If he had any relationship with Bryce or Newsome before they decommitted.  What he thinks of Gallon and Tuissant and how he sees them playing out next year.  Obviously he's not going to trash on his QB, but it would be cool to see his reaction to questions regarding the incoming class of Forcier/Beaver.

It's not that I can't get them. I just said I was looking for some requests, but no one needs to request those guys, that's all. Nothing to worry about.

How Does the speed of this class compare with the past two or three?  I don't even know if that is possible to look at or if reliable info is out there...but thought it would be interesting to look at.

To answer some of the questions. There's nothing that I know about these guys. I just have something in the works with them already, so no need for a request. I was going to keep it a surprise, but everyone was freaking out, so now everyone can relax. As far as the QB's, I've left them messages, I think Tate is actually pretty busy right now. He's trying to catch up to graduate early, but he usually gets back to me pretty soon. I talk to Ricardo Miller a couple times a week, so I'll get Lo Wood on board. I've got a couple of your requests already in the works too, so we'll all just have to be patient. As far as Will Campbell, he's being really quiet right now. I'm going to keep working on him, but he's really been the only person that I can't get a hold of, which I think he's doing on purpose. I will also take a look at the past recruiting, it's going to be a little off because I think the 2010 class will be a real tell tale of RR. I have actually looked at it in the past to compare, and I'm really not surprised we're in this situation. Lloyd really left us with nothing. I've got all this though, and I'll start working. Thank you everyone for the input.

Not all of those running backs will play that position. We're not used to this type of recruiting, but RR is getting his skill players. He's recruiting fast guys that can play. They'll be able help all over the field as a back, and in the slot. Plus, as you can see, we need help with the return game as well.

I think RR has done a really good job this year, and at the end of last year getting his players. Lately it seems like the biggest buzz has been on offensive lineman, defensive tackles, outside receivers, and DB's. I still don't think this year has been a true testimant for HIS recruiting. I really think that the 2010 class will be his players. You can already see with the type of kids taht have expressed interest. They're all fast, but they play fast too.

He's good, but for some reason isn't being talked about very much except for in Ohio. I haven't talked to him, but this year he's got 37 total TD's (12 rushing) with only 3 INT's, which is pretty impressive. He's from Ohio, and he's 6' 4". I've been trying to find out why he's only got MAC schools and Ohio State after him. He apparently is the heir to another good QB, so he has only been the starter for this year. Everything that I've ever read on him though makes me think that we're going to start hearing a lot more about him. I'll let you know if I get a hold of him.

only MAC schools and OSU are the only teams interested in Faine probably is because he plays in the smallest devision in Ohio witch is division 6. I have seen him play multiple times because he quarterbacks my old high school Ada. Don't get me wrong he is a very good quarterback in Ada's spread attack but most of his gaudy numbers are due to a receiver named Heath Jackson. This kid can flat out fly and I haven't seen his name on the recuiting sites. Tom you might want to look into this kid. He is the real deal.
