| 2 years 19 weeks ago | the biggets thing working |
the biggets thing working against us right now is the fact that if harbaugh were coming, don't you think he'd be here by now? |

| 2 years 51 weeks ago | 4-5-1 = 4 defenders, 5 |
4-5-1 = 4 defenders, 5 midfielders and 1 forward correct? So your saying the US needs to keep 1 more person back against England? |
| 2 years 51 weeks ago | I don't know much about |
I don't know much about soccer but I love watching the US soccer team during the World Cup. I thought the energy that Findley brought into the second half changed the whole complexion of the game and made the difference. I know he doesnt have any experience but I would seriously consider starting him. Why not? Dempsey played much more effectively at mid-field in the 2nd half and Findley's speed and aggressiveness really got the team going. The other player I was really impressed with was Jose Torres. I got the feeling that Brian's not too high on Torres after his post on the Czech game but he looked like a stud out there. If the only thing preventing Torres from starting is a perception that he can't play like that the whole 90, I say start him and give him a chance to prove us wrong. Onyewu looked a little better and the 2nd half. Last comment---I disagree with the original poster regarding Spector being responsible for the first goal. He made a nice run and in that situation someone from the back or mid needs to slide over and cover for him. Even still, he ran all the way back and almost made the stop. I thought the goal was more due to Goodson's failure to slide over and help rather than Spector being out of position. a couple questions from someone who doesn't know much about the USMNT: Other than Altidore who is still pretty raw, we have no experience up front. Would it have been completely ridiculous to give someone like Brian McBride a call? I understand he's 40 or something by now but wouldn't that experience help or is it more of a benefit to give the younger players the opportunity with an eye toward the future? Also, I get the feeling that losing Charlies Davies was big. Is it a lock that he would have made the 23-man roster had he not gotton injured? And who has taken his spot now that he's out? The result was encouraging today....can't wait for England. |
| 3 years 6 weeks ago | I picked Duke to win it all |
I picked Duke to win it all which is the reason I won as most people took Kansas. Another prediction re: The Masters this weekend for those that care----Tiger Woods won't make the cut. You heard it here first. Book it. |
| 3 years 16 weeks ago | "as painful as tiny gremlins |
"as painful as tiny gremlins stretch your scrotum across 2 counties." Awesome. I LOL-ed. Look, Zack Novak and Stu Douglass are role players at best in the Big Ten. Until they become role players at Michigan, we'll struggle. Love the hustle, love the grit, etc. but those kids can't play with the more athletic big ten 2,3 and 4s. It ain't happening and Michigan is probably a couple years away from making the tournament again. Michigan needs to get more athletic (please Trey Ziegler k thnks) and Michigan needs more size. |

I'm sorry can someone help me out here. I totally don't get the state shirt and I really want to laugh at them. |
| 3 years 37 weeks ago | Really hope Cissoko's injury |
Really hope Cissoko's injury isn't serious or else we're in trouble vs. ND's pass offense. With Warren and Cissoko we match up well but if we just have Warren the other side is going to be exploited. JT Turner really needs to step up. Wish Adrian Witty had gotton in too.. |
| 3 years 38 weeks ago | Kick the ball away, play |
Kick the ball away, play defense. Get the ball in the 2nd half. Always play defense first. |
| 3 years 39 weeks ago | Appreciate your post and |
Appreciate your post and explanation. It's been too long since we've had a gamebreaker at qb. It will be exciting to see what happens w/ the qb battle. |

Excellent work Tom. Thanks for the info. |
| 3 years 42 weeks ago | If the goal was a couple |
If the goal was a couple safe, easy wins against a respectable opponent that I think we've met that goal. But at a time when our biggest rival has scheduled home and homes w/ USC, Virginia Tech, Texas and Tennessee this looks pretty pathetic. I personally would have liked to have seen a bigger opponent in this slot. Oklahoma State would have been fun. |

Nuke every Wendy's?? Really? They have pretty decent alternatives health-wise for a fast food joint w/ the salads, chili, oranges, etc. I always feel their food tastes fresh (for a fast-food place). I mean, if you're gonna nuke Wendy's what's your reaction to BK and MCD's? |
| 3 years 46 weeks ago | I posted a similar comment |
I posted a similar comment regarding this new creation on facebook. Can it really get any worse than a "bacon, cheesy potato burrito?" Maybe it can----I just saw an advertisement for Long John Silver's new "baja fish taco." What the hell does baja even mean? And btw, Moe's > chipotle or Qdoba. They give you free chips and salsa brah. |

| 3 years 49 weeks ago | Can't wait for the day when |
Can't wait for the day when beating Ohio State becomes the norm again. Awesome footage, nice post. We really kicked their ass that day. Since someone's already posted above about it, what is the deal with all those pieces of white in the NW corner of the end zone? Are they really marshmellows? Why did ppl throw marshmellows onto the field? I remember the same thing happening in the game against Michigan State in 2000 where we won 14-0 I believe and probably many other games I'm forgetting. |
| 3 years 49 weeks ago | I think Minor's big run |
I think Minor's big run against Ohio State this past year that set up our only score was on the outside. But yeah....they were few and far between last year. |
| 3 years 49 weeks ago | Can't believe noone's |
Can't believe noone's mentioned Papa John's. By far the best of the delivery chains. It's light on the grease relative to other delivery giants like Pizza Hut and Domino's. It also comes with the garlic/butter/lard sauce to dip your crust in. Amazing. |
| 3 years 49 weeks ago | But how did you come up with |
But how did you come up with 40%? Did you just pick it because it seemed right to you? Did you utilize a mathematical equation? Did you pray about it? I'm confused. |
| 3 years 49 weeks ago | At least an 8-4 team? Dunno |
At least an 8-4 team? Dunno about that dude. Facts: True freshman quarterback. We'll be better, but at least 8-4? I mean, I hope your right but seems like a pretty biased prediction. |

| 3 years 50 weeks ago | Really every game is a toss |
Really every game is a toss up. The way I see it, we have a 50/50 chance in every game. Win or lose, it's 50/50. Right? |
| 3 years 51 weeks ago | Look out for Andy Murrey not |
Look out for Andy Murrey not that Nadal is out. Obv. this becomes Fed's tourney to lose but Murrey is a great player and has had success against Fed. It's wide open now. I tend to root against Fed b/c I'm a big Sampras fan. |
| 3 years 51 weeks ago | Yeah the Djokovic loss was |
Yeah the Djokovic loss was pretty surprising given how he had played the last 2 months. I really thought he would beat Fed in the semis but now its pretty wide open on that half of the draw. Mathieu took Fed to 4 sets and I think Fed is pretty vulnerable but will find a way to get into the final again. Still, noones beating Nadal. The guy is amazing. |
| 4 years 5 days ago | Agree with you on 6-6, 7-5 |
Agree with you on 6-6, 7-5 being the realistic/acceptable expectations for this season. They are also "meh" outcomes in general. My biggest concern was keeping the 2009 recruiting class in tact following a 3-9 year which we obviously did. We won't go 3-9 again this year and I don't foresee any major recruiting roadblocks following a 6-6 year, especially coming off a 3-9 year. Biggest game of the year? imo, the first one at home against western. We need to win that game and get off to a good start. |
