If Cade only plays in one more game (or none), will he still have two years of eligibility left? If so, I doubt he plays again. Allowing him to sit out with an injury prevents the negative attention from the media and avoids any division among the players. Captain or not, he has to look out for his own best interest. I’m not saying his injury isn’t legit, but it is a crazy coincidence. It would be wild if he sat out the rest of the year, backed up JJ next year, and was QB1 again in 2024 (assuming JJ leaves after his third year).

Nice apology aside, I'm not sure your statement needed an apology!  I've found myself, many times, wondering what was said behind a paywall, or on some video I can't see at work.  The rush to post is so great that people can barely take the time to put a link in, let alone summarize the damn thing.

I upvoted both your statement, and the unneeded (for that statement) apology...

For those who aren’t hip to TikTok trends (which is apparent since the linked video is an FB/IG reel and not a TikTok which is a joke in of itself) there was a viral video about a kid talking about corn. It was then remixed into a viral tiktok song. My gripe with the Corum video is how did they not include the clip of Corum eating corn off the cob celebration after his TD vs. Nebraska last year? Blown opportunity

In my opinion, by and large, yes. There are good things that can come from social media, no doubt. Community can be found, causes funded, information shared, and on.

However, in my personal experience and based on the vast majority of the research I've read, social media is more bad than good insofar as it creates false sense of other people's "perfect" realities and this false reflection tends to increase one's own insecurities that we're not as good as these others' perfect lives, leading to more mental health issues- depression/anxiety/body image issues/etc., on top of issues related to online bullying, living in confirmatory echo chambers/silos and what have you.

All of which in my mind outweigh the potential benefits that can come from social media. If that means I'm in the get off my lawn crowd, then I'll wear that badge with honor. So, please and thank you, get off my lawn!

What's not to like? He's consistent but he won't get 240 yds each week so don't go overboard. He'll give each time he's handed the ball 110% and he'll get that extra yard or two.

Also worth mentioning, he gives back to the community. Last Thanksgiving didn't he hand out 100 cooked turkey dinners? (Something like that.)

Over the past decade, OSU has had 2 backs I feared every time they touched the ball...

Ezekiel Elliot

JK Dobbins

Since last year's thunder and lightning of H2 and Corum, I felt that Corum was the closest thing I had seen to Dobbins in a UM uniform in my lifetime...a guy that can go the distance on every play.

After this past week, I feel he is more Elliot than Dobbins, being both a home run threat and short yard inside the tackles grinder.

He can do it all and probably the best back in America imo.

I don't know how good of a receiver he is, and perhaps we won't find out since Edwards is probably the one of the best receiving backs college football has seen in years.

So I will go full Fred Jackson here...

Corum = Jukier, faster Ezekiel Elliot

Donovan Edwards = Reggie Bush 2.0

Time to deploy JJ as John Elway 2.0
