Looking at weather maps, the storms are coming in around 10:50 PM. Game should be mostly over by then.

This'll be like the Indiana game last year where whoever is leading when the weather starts wins.

hopefully the improvement week made us a first-half team, too. Get ahead before the storm hits and don't look back.

We should have really moved the game back once there was a chance of a thunderstorm. Freaking TV schedules.

no biggie. But I think the Purdue game might be hit by a squall line in a few minutes so that might be entertaining.

Resume play whenever weather is good. Maybe late at night, but I'm assuming at some point they'll call it a draw b/c of weather. If it's late enough and the game is well under control by one team they'll call it in favor of that team probably as they did in Hoke's first game against Western Michigan
October 7th, 2017 at 7:38 PM ^
they didn't call that game. They asked the coaches if they were both ok with ending the game at the current score and they both agreed. Not sure they can determine an outcome without the agreement?

they should move game time up by an hour -- ensure fans can get out in time.

Would have been nice if they did yesterday. Much too late for that now unfortunately.

Scrap that... tried to reply to a post below. Never log in on my PC - usually on the "unofficial" i-phone app.
No whichever team has more rushing yards when they call the game is declared the winner, irregardless of the score.

Is this storm someway of telling us that we shouldn't play night games in Ann Arbor. At least night games against MAC? Is there a "higher authority" at work here?
Seriously, hope it doesn't get too bad for fans/players/workers and we can play a competitive game not impacted too badly be severe weather. That said, at least we're not dealing with such winds in that "trash tornado" in EL.

and more likely to be a nuisance preventing good offensive football..which to be fair we were probably not going to see a lot of even on a calm clear evening.
October 7th, 2017 at 6:27 PM ^
Oh great. Just what we need in Michigan Stadium. More green.
October 7th, 2017 at 6:56 PM ^
It's a pretty well-defined line though, which makes me wonder if the winds will be...well...entertaining ahead of the precipitation. I haven't heard from anyone who has already experienced it, but the gust front might be interesting. I imagine that we're probably not going to see either team at their offensive best once the rain starts.
October 7th, 2017 at 6:20 PM ^
Just no trash tornado, please.
October 7th, 2017 at 6:21 PM ^
would be bad. windy/rainy for both teams, but could be stuck for hours awaiting an outcome.
