Unsung hero of the season. Never gets the credit he deserves. In fact always critiqued by MIchigan basketball heads but got damn he was not gonna let this team go down tonight. Carried the team w Chaundee. WHAT A BEAST OF A PERFORMANCE BY THE SENIOR!

Remember when a certain poster who also wanted Beilein fired said repeatedly that Eli was a miss, not a guy who could play on a power 5 program? Yeah.

Edit: I’m being petty, alas. Not worth it. But Eli is good.

Eli has gotten absolutely everything out of what he is. And his denial D in the second half was crucial even without the hot shooting.

Yes. And Chaundee Brown is a straight up dog!  All year his defense has been ruthless, and tonight he had ice water in the veins.

Chaundee reminds me of Markus Smart in the NBA....3 and D, good passer, and all the rebounds.

I love how we have so many players that can step up . Smith had an off night ( understatement i know). But due to the depth and coaching , this team can have that happen and still win .

Brooks had a fantastic game.  A great team effort - I thought Wagner was lost again but you look up and he basically took over the last 5 minutes of the game offensively.  Just a great overall performance by this team, and credit to LSU for playing really well.

Love Eli. Dude is heart and soul blue. Hopefully Howard told him to be more aggressive and shoot more. We need him with Livers out!

Don’t forget about Chaundee. He’s usually either hot or cold but tonight he was SCALDING HOT. He and Eli won this game for Michigan.

On a side note, I said on this board after the Minnesota loss that Eli was not the difference in that game and him being in wouldn’t have made a difference in the win/loss result.

I was wrong. Eli has made me eat my words ever since.

Since he grew up 8 miles down the road from my house I started to watch him a ton in high school when he showed interest in Mich.  Have a friend who coaches against him, and he really talked him up when he committed over Nova. Love seeing him do well, and the best part is there a ton of Mich fans in this small part of PA now other than my family.

I like the time near the end of the game when he waited for them to foul him.  He had that ice water in the veins super calm look like he was thinking, "Yeah, send ME to the line.  We got this."

Eli kept us in the game early with a couple of huge 3s when it looked like it might get away from us. Chaundee took us over the top. Amazing game by both players.
