i think tempo is overrated.
it can be great when used at the right time, but going full speed all game long is overkill and serves no purpose much of the time. as we saw today, it can hurt you more than it helps when putting teams away

Petty threw for 550 against a defense non-OSU Big Ten teams have been completely unable to solve. The spread is pretty great.
Sadly, Baylor is dumb and choked the game away on some really stupid penalties.

They lost to UCF in the Fiesta Bowl last year and this year they beat no one outside of a miracle comeback win against TCU. I watched them against Texas Tech and they almost choked in that game too.
