2016 WR Nate Johnson offered
Individual scholarship offers usually aren't thread-worthy but it's unusal for a high school senior to be offered this late in the process.

Looks like a slot WR type

It seems he's gotten a lot of offers in the last week or so. South carolina, Penn state, Tennessee and Michigan have all offered recently. Perhaps this is because he had a breakout senior season?

Good - McDoom is the best plausible WR on the board, IMO.

for us landing Corley??
That sucks......He's going to be good

Well, I wouldn't say 0%, but I definitely don't think it's likely. I think Michigan is running at least 3rd right now.

Hill is such a weird case that I really don't know what to think. I think it's smart to do your due diligence and check out other schools. I mean, why not? But he's gone back and forth numerous times. He said for a long time that he was 100% committed to PSU, but then he decommitted. Then a guy at 247 basically promised that Hill would be a Wolverine, and now said guy is stepping back from that notion a little bit.

Durkin leaving is going to lead to a really shitty day when Hill and Corley committ. Thats what im expecting, no inside information but it doesn't seem like a great trend.

It will all be okay when Jeremy Pruitt brings Mecole Hardman with him from Georgia.

Webb said this morning Hardman is another guy who was dismayed by the weather.

Ugh we gotta start beating MSU again... Getting tired of them slowly picking off top targets with more consistency in the past 3 years...

Harbaugh closed 7 years of garbage outcomes in less than 9 months and, aside from a 1 in 1000 play had Sparty beat. He's not going to do worse over the next calendar year. I'm interested to see what he can do over the next 9 months into that game.
Dis gon be gud.

While he would never say we have zero chance, Sam has been consistent in what he's said about Corley from the beginning: that MSU has always been the leader for Corley, and that Michigan had a steep hill to climb.
Sam also said this morning that apparently Lavert Hill is expressing consternation over the departure of Durkin and the uncertainty over his replacment, and that Greg Jackson and other coaches are basically trying to keep things on a positive note with Hill. Sam believes the primary competition for Hill would be MSU. The fact that Corley and Hill have been tied together for so long and that MSU has been a consistent leader for Corley makes me guess that both will end up in EL. (That's my own pessimistic guess, not Sam's).
Sam also said that Hardman made statements during his visit about the unpleasant weather, and he pretty much dismissed any real possibility of him coming north. The only thing that would change that would be if Pruitt came up, but as of this morning Sam is still skeptical that's likely.

Also would have the best name for a Michigan football player since at least Zoltan.

It's actually not unusual at all. It's usually a sign that you are missing out on all your plan A guys. Willie Henry was a notable late offer.
I think Pie is the guy we have the best chance with, wonder what this means about his recruitment.
December 10th, 2015 at 12:36 AM ^
So when do the Harbaugh can't recruit threads start?
December 10th, 2015 at 12:41 AM ^
where were you all summer during the summer 2 star tour?
Depends on how we close but since I doubt we close with all 5 stars, some will be dissapointed and complain.
December 10th, 2015 at 1:26 AM ^
Yeah I am just playing because of the Beilein can't recruit stuff. I do remember those threads in the summer.

No sane person actually thinks Beilein can recruit. I didn't bring it up, the other poster did.

becomes a Jr or Sr we should have a fairly consistant WR or Slot to throw the ball to.
December 10th, 2015 at 12:39 AM ^
just watched his film, I'd say him and Pie are pretty close. I like Mcdoom better than both, more electric. It's obvious the coaches really want a fast slot guy in this class.

I suspect we'll be able to run just fine by the time the 2016 class is contributing on the field.
