Go Blue.  Shock the World.  (Or just the regional audience interested in this early season matchup with limited consequences).

Only Wisconsin plays uglier basketball than Sparty.  Their model of 1 skilled player (Winston this year) and 4 bricklayer-rebounder-defensive hacks has been successful though.  Of course, once they leave the B1G, it almost always isn't enough in the tournament.

Hopefully Howard's great recruiting doesn't forget to bring in some sniper 3-point shooters.

I think the initial season projections about this team being the right side of the bubble were correct and some hot shooting in the Bahamas made people think some things they shouldn’t. This team doesn’t have elite athletes or shooters and that means at times they are going to struggle

Z is playing well overall and is out there working his ass off. Rest of the team just looks like we are a step behind athletically, which might just be what this team is...this year.

Ugly first half. Only 2 threes. Winston has fucking 16 points already. 44 in the half for them. I miss Yaklich.

And I don’t get a lot of the substitutions Howard did. Nunez, really? Wtf was that?

It’s a make or miss game. They have a huge advantage on threes and free throws. At least Teske and Simpson only have one foul each.

If Wagner was as good as advertised this team would go places, but for now 0 wing play is dooming us.

Livers being out doesn’t help. Brooks only shows up at home or neutral courts. DDJ missing today.

Nunez needs to transfer to a smaller division. No where near a division 1 player. Looks like someone they pulled out of the stands because they needed another body in order to play the game.

I think many of us, me included, expecting too much from Wagner. I think he will develop well but it seems like he will be a developing player around for multiple years. I probably set myself up to be disappointed in that one. He is a young player that will grow and be damn good the next couple years.
