100,000 for Big Chill
It's been hit. I know that there's some controversy over "inflation", but still:
Welp, I guess I better buy my ticket soon...
was about to say the same thing
like tomorrow would be a good time to get them.
Would it be sweet knowing that the Big Chill would have SOLD OUT by the start of summer --sweet.
A lot of students bought an extra ten dollar ticket by mistake... unless you want a bunch of tickets in a row, if I were ya'll I would wait until football season when students realize they have two tickets instead of one... I myself may or may not have purchased an extra one without knowing that fact... and it will be on craigslist as soon as I get it.
Germany will have the record for a few months, but then it is ours...
We deserve to break that record after the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor.
Does anyone know what the new official capacity is?
108,000+ is all fine and good, but its not exact and it includes the boxes. So are we using the boxes, and what, after that, is the sellout number?
Club seats and Suites will be in use.
I'm told that the official capacity at the time of the football opener will be 115,000+. I don't know what kind of construction will be completed between then and the Big Chill though.
should be complete at the start of the football season. Next year it is the West.
I meant to say 112,000+. Basically, it's the approx 107,501 plus the new club seats and suites. Then at some point they begin the seat and aisle widening project, reducing that number back down to 108K-ish.
sound like there is not so much inflation, if they feel the need to do a freeze for students.

Does anyone else find it weird (but awesome) that they are saving cheap tickets for students when they might be able to get more money for them from other buyers?
...here are your options:
Orders from football season ticket holders who are renewing their tickets on or before 5 p.m. on Friday, May 14, are being accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
The general public may still request tickets by joining a waiting list. To join this waiting list, you can e-mail ([email protected]) or call (734-764-0247 or 866-296-6849) the University of Michigan Athletics Ticket Office with your name, email address, daytime phone number and requested number of tickets (limit of 4). If tickets become available later, fans will be removed from the waiting list on a first-come first-served basis.
Of course the market is getting brisk here already.
All your attendance records are belong to us.
We'll be keeping this one for a while.
...the view is much better than the one at Camp Randall where many couldn't see much.
I suspect people in row 90 are going to have one hell of a time discerning what is going on down on the ice. Better bring the binocs.
Yeah I have tickets in row 50 and I don't expect to be able to see much. Anytime hockey or basketball is played in a football stadium you are going more for the atmosphere/history being made than to actually see the game.
...is going to have a hell of a time! :P
My tickets are in row 90!
