One Frame At A Time: Iowa
Perhaps it wasn't in the full capacity we had hoped, but Denard still managed to give us some of that vintage Denard magic on Senior Day:
[For the rest of the Iowa game in gifs—yes, including more Denard—hit THE JUMP]
Per Brian's request, a Vincent Smith blitz pickup special:
Roy Roundtree borrows Jeremy Gallon's cloaking device:
Devin Gardner rollout TD features yet another Vincent Smith cut block surprise:
Al Borges, you sly fox:
Oh, what the heck—cloaking devices for everyone!
Not a gif, but this fan wins all of the points:
This will be missed, dearly:

I loved the last one with the screen to Denard that he cut back across the field. Watch Devin look over his shoulder to see which way he should block for Denard. At that point Robinson is blowing by him like he's standing still. Gardner kind of pulls up since blocking is pointless.
I'll miss Vincent Smith's ninja blocking. He is all man.

Desmond Morgan must have been terribly impressed. Blocker taken off his feet.

for both doing these gifs, and also for not doing a Fitz one. I can't bear to see that break again.

Honey Funchess of Oats credit goes to Mark Rulkowski, MMB trombone alum and all-around badass. Mark, you're awesome and it's excellent to see your shining face in the best possible light.

Oh man, I know him. I used to play roller hockey with him out on Palmer

On Denard's juke of Miller, we're fortunate to get that play off. AJ Williams gets clobbered off the line resulting in him impeding Barnum's effort to pull (which, like....yea), AND Kerridge doesn't get any kind of real block.

Denard didn't try taking the option to the house - I think he may have been able to out-run that guy but I understand his thought process after the fact: "This guy is going to try to rip the ball out of my left hand and I can't switch it to the right. I also can't stiff arm him because, obviously. So, yeah, I guess I'll just shut it down and go out of bounds"

That sign was classic. One of the commentators (heck...let's just say Griese said it) motioned for that sign to head straight to the Gameday HOF. Right next to the Washington St flag presumibly.

...was the guys camera awareness. Haven't seen that since the kid in the UTL games waving his finger at the camera when he was caught facepalming.
