however, missed foul shots, point back layups. Dribble, perimter pass, dribble, drive, turnover. Stand around dribble, waste clock. The last 4 minutes have been terrible basketball.

Here's to you joining the fraternity of worthless OSU big men in the NBA.  Your seat at the table is currently being kept warm by Oden, Koufos, and Mullens.

I know your dad will try and talk you out of leaving school the next time he asks you over to help him try on bras, but stay the course, young man -- NBA worthlessness awaits!!

Stu Douglass was terrible in this game.  He is the most experienced player on our roster along with Novak and he made one good pass to Morgan and a late 3, but besides that he missed alot of shots and made some terrible decisions.   I thought it showed alot about how good Novak has been playing lately that Matta had Lighty guarding him the whole game.  Lighty is a great defender and he shut Novak down offensively.  Novak still made a difference in other ways though.

Michigan wouldn't have won playing the way they played down the stretch, but cristos, they wouldn't have been rushing stupid shots if they weren't put in a massive hole.

Sullinger had as many free throws as his team had fouls (11.) Can you fucking believe that? Apparently it's a foul if you breathe on him now.

giving Michigan very little credit for playing them tough in their post game interviews. Real classy there. Both Sullinger and Matta were also complaining to the officials  the whole game, as well as Matta complaining after the game,  despite the free throws in the two meetings being 51-11. This may seem like sour grapes, but both of these guys are idiots.

Edit: Sullinger did talk about Michigan doubling him well in the first half, but overall he gave Michigan very little credit. He talked about how Ohio State wasn't playing hard at all in the first half.

They would be cocky and say they are now Duke, and can just play easy for a half then pull it out. I'm sure they have no idea that their playing had little to do with the end result. First half was owned by us and it frustrated them visibly, so he can take his excuse and suck it

Style of play is one thing, but a 26-4 FT disparity is ridiculous. The Big 10 needs to take a long, hard look at their refs. *Though I realize this isn't an entirely new issue* OTOH, missed layups and missed FTs (well 3 of the 4 we attempted) at crucial junctures of the game were backbreaking. Yet, I see a bright, bright light at the end of the tunnel. Ohio State only has 7 guys they use. 3 are Seniors. 1 is a Junior. The other 3 are Freshman including 1 guy who is one-and-done. Michigan's Top 7 (D-Mo, Timmay, Novak, Metrics, Morgan, Douglas, Horford) is 2 Juniors, 1 Sophomore, and 4 Freshmen). I have a feeling that one program is on its way up and one program is on its way down. Especially when those NCAA violations hit. Of course, if you're Ohio State, and 5 of your best players are found driving cars belonging to boosters and local car dealerships, it's no big deal. And, this OSU team isn't winning the title.

Good ol' Big Ten basketball.  You have to be 10+ points better than the other team to win on the road.  Well, you've got to love our guys' heart.  Aside from that bad three-game stretch (IU, NW, Minn) last month, they've really competed well all season.

My only coaching complaint: we've got to use some new inbounds plays.  We're having a hard time getting it in almost every time.

I know that an appeal to poor reffing could be construed as me being a "sore loser"

... but jesuschristholyfuckballs they were awful.  Like really, really bad.  Like some of the worst officiating I've ever seen.  The fouls were 7-0 at one point in the 2nd half, and Ohio State didn't pick up their first foul until almost halfway though (it was like the 10:47 mark).  Also, I distinctly remember Darius Morris being raped in the face and the refs called it clean.

We were at the line, what, twice?  OSU was there, what, 14 times?

... I hope someone tells those refs something.  We only lost by 9 and it was 8 on 5 in favor of OSU!
